One thing I'd say is,

Original Nuttah is one of my all time favourite tunes but the bpm is about 160 if I recall and mixing it inbetween two 140bpm tracks can sound off, especially in a rave, unless you can do some ultra sick transition with reverb and shyt.

What I would do when I'm mixing between different bpm's is, I would normally do a transition into the faster tunes towards the end of the mix over a breakdown or something. But that's just me, I guess everyone has their own style.

If you want some old grime 320s/WAVs lemme know which MCs/Producers, I got 1000s

Thanks for the input! I keep the tracklisting of all all my tapes so I can re record them if needs be. I'm still kinda getting back into it so my skills are not top dog. Been out the game over 4 years and working with new equipment instad of vinyl. What do you think of the whole tape in general?

@Roberto Dinero

If your uploading to soundcloud you should record straight to mp3 320kbps, It will still be good quality and the file won't be as big as a WAV.

But if you record it as a WAV and then compress it to mp3, you will lose a lot of quality.

btw post the mix up here

I ended up uploading the whole thing to bandcamp. It took me a while, a few hours but it can be done so for the moment I'ma work with bandcamp.

Here's the tape. Mixing skills are pretty basic but I'm happy with the song selection. Also the tape is only 18 tracks long, you can skip through and listen to the whole thing without a problem. It kinda divided the thing into 35 but it all works well, and like I said only 18 tracks long.

I heard a few and weren't bad but then bandcamp stop playing all together :stopitslime: I dunno if it's only my getting this problem, but it happen the other day when I was listening to someone else's bandcamp :sad:

Do you want any grime tunes tho? I got lots of classics and some new ones, got a few bassline tunes too

Yeah man for sure. I got enough knowledge of grime but send them tracks man, u can never know too much. Hook me up with all the biggest from this year if you can but yeah I definitely wanna step up my grime catalogue!

As for bandcamp not working, maybe its just you cause it works for me and I hooked up a friend with a link and he said it worked for him.

The reason I threw Original Nuttah in there was well, reason one I really love the track, but it came after the track "Never Be Your Woman" which is a Shy FX beat, same as Original Nuttah. That's why I thought they'd sound good together. But it sounded off to you? Maybe I need to rework it somehow.

It was just the change of tempo sounded a bit abrupt

For anyone who's interested, I just updated my page. Got another new mixtape in there, I won't add any more till next month. But I've edited everything right and added cover work, so shyt is looking official now.

Check it out:

I will re record and update the Grime tape next month with better mixing but I will leave it as is for the moment.
