use this to convert the file to FLAC..

Convert audio to the FLAC format

it'll convert it within 2-3min, and the FLAC files upload to BC really quick.. id suggest tweaking the audio a bit, as it'll lose a bit of volume when converting to FLAC..

lemme know when you get it on there.. im on there also.. :myman:

I don't have the Pro version of bandcamp. Just signed up now to the regular.

Also, do you have to pay for FLAC?
i was talking about Soundcloud..

the regular version of Bandcamps, fine.. and, the converter is free.. just upload your file and itll convert it.. and, redirect a download link in FLAC to your computer..

Don't have soundcloud pro but ur saying if I FLAC it, I can upload all of it to soundcloud? That would be dope. I just gotta FLAC the songs one by one instead of all together?

All right.

Sorry if I'm asking dumb questions, I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to uploading music on line. I worked out how to do the FLAC thing. So once I'm done I will upload the tape to Bandcamp in like 2 or 3 parts. Thanks anyway guys, daps for all!

If your uploading to soundcloud you should record straight to mp3 320kbps, It will still be good quality and the file won't be as big as a WAV.

But if you record it as a WAV and then compress it to mp3, you will lose a lot of quality.

btw post the mix up here

I ended up uploading the whole thing to bandcamp. It took me a while, a few hours but it can be done so for the moment I'ma work with bandcamp.

Here's the tape. Mixing skills are pretty basic but I'm happy with the song selection. Also the tape is only 18 tracks long, you can skip through and listen to the whole thing without a problem. It kinda divided the thing into 35 but it all works well, and like I said only 18 tracks long.

Yeah its basically Grime and UK tracks from the last 10 years. Some newer some older.

One thing I'd say is,

Original Nuttah is one of my all time favourite tunes but the bpm is about 160 if I recall and mixing it inbetween two 140bpm tracks can sound off, especially in a rave, unless you can do some ultra sick transition with reverb and shyt.

What I would do when I'm mixing between different bpm's is, I would normally do a transition into the faster tunes towards the end of the mix over a breakdown or something. But that's just me, I guess everyone has their own style.

If you want some old grime 320s/WAVs lemme know which MCs/Producers, I got 1000s
