Hey brehs,
I can really use some advice.

I'm 6'1 about 291 pounds and was told by my doctor I'm at risk for being prediabetic if I don't lose some weight.

With that said I need some tips. I'm someone who has a major sweet tooth and I stress eat with fast food almost daily but I want to change that and need to do so fast.

What would be a good diet plan to stick to? I also plan to try to go to the gym at least 4 times a week and focus on cardio.

Breh you said you eat fast food everyday

It’s really simple to lose weight
I know I need to stop cause I'm pretty active and walk a lot but it's like I'm addicted to the food man. shyt is hard to quit but I have too.

A breh don't want diabetes :mjcry: It's grind time

Would also say, eat less beef, pork & starches

Get used to spending more on salmon, shrimp, and scallops...those foods are great for losing weight

I played ball basically everyday for a whole summer in addition to what I listed above
Really Shrimp? I got some in the freezer, bout to look some ideas for how to prepare a few dishes. Thanks for the ideas bro!

Impossible to say how to help you when you provided essentially no info besides your height and weight. :stopitslime:

What is your age? What are you actually eating? How many calories? What are the portions? What's your bread look like? You got gym access already? What are you currently doing activity/work wise? Do you have any food allergies or religious requirements? :comeon:

Thanks breh I'll check it out but I need a diet plan I could use with Breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as healthy snack options.

I've also been thinking about Keto and Intermittent Fasting.
So you expect someone on a message board to write you a diet plan :heh:

Come on guise
If you would read the thread that was provided…..

Good luck getting folks on here to write up free example meal plans when they don't even know what the fukk you like to eat, how much you need to be eating, or anything else that's relevant to the question. :skip:

If you would take the time to go through that thread, @MMS already did most of the groundwork for you. And unless I'm much mistaken, @The ADD used to be a big dude and lost the weight. If I were you, I would listen to both them cats before I assume I knew better since, if you're making this thread on this site, you obviously don't.

Losing weight without Ozempic is quite easy if you know what you're doing and are willing to put in work; the problem it seems like most fat folks aren't willing to put in work and want everything spoonfed to them, pun intended. :heh: Let's try doing things "our way" before you continue to do them your way. :beli:

Start in the kitchen.

You see all the stuff you have in there along with how much you eat at day. Chill with the sugar and bread. Drink water. Stop blowing your $ on fast food and buy some real groceries.

Go buy some decent running shoes. Get some Hokas since you are damn near 300lbs. Get an Apple Watch or a Garmin Forerunner 165 (entry level) watch so you can track your heart rate and workouts. Get your ass out onto a track (in the outer lanes) and briskly walk 16-20 laps. If you can do that 5x a week then that’s good. 16 laps is 4 miles, 20 laps is 5 miles.

Dont even think about going to the gym if you can’t do laps on the track or adjust your diet. You’ll go to the gym, start lifting heavy stuff and get bigger and burn very little fat.

Commit to getting on the track for at least one calendar year so you can get your mind right, burn fat and get used to sweating a lot out there. At some point, bump up the brisk walk into a job. Focus on your breathing.

Take a hard look at all of the heart rate data from the watch.

If you can’t commit at least 12 solid months of this then don’t even bother asking for help. This is going to take work and it’s not fun but I’m sure dying is 1000% worse. Dont be a bǐtch about it. Just get out there and done it regardless of the weather.

Good luck. It can be done

Highly unlikely unless he’s eating in some form of a surplus

I'm not a weight loss expert by any means but I'm taking Heavy Lifting over LISS Cardio for fat loss every time. :hubie:
