IMO those previous Chiefs' defenses were good on a play to play basis but prone to giving up 1 or 2 huge plays a game where someone was out of position (usually Sorenson) or bad against the run so couldn't get stops when they really needed one. Since dropping Sorenson and adding Bolton and Gay they've cleaned up those issues and are legit a top level D now.Whats a top level defense? Because KC has been top 10 every year with Spags, aside from 2021.
