Jaden has his parents work ethic and their family is disciplined. McCauly had awful parents and basically had to fend for himself by the time the kid was 11 from his parasitic parents.

he too young to call it. most child actors dont make it as adult actors. however, most child actors dont have will smith as a dad so i think he has a chance.

But he's gotta do some heavy, indy, offbeat, R rated flick to get that real praise going though. He's not gonna get simply by doing big summer blockbuster, PG-PG13, big name remakes, and father/son projects only. He's gotta venture out be on some other shyt at least every other project.

I'mma pay attention to what types of roles he picks and choose in the future. If its all 'safe shyt' then he might be a teen idol type cat as his ceiling but he won't get any serious actor daps and accolades from the critics and film buffs that's for sure.

I noticed this watching him & Will on Ellen earlier today. Will was able to draw peoples attention with his wit and charisma but Jaden just doesn't have it. I swear Will answered all of Jaden's questions for him.

No it isn't. If every one of his flicks in the future is with his dad, either producing or acting, and the movies do well....that still makes him a big star.
