i've never had any personal run ins with police here but i have heard how they can be. i've seen some bullshyt too. like last august, i was playing in this band and the bass player almost got in a fight with a cook who worked at the bar we were playing in and this one cop came in and he was talking so much shyt. he reminded me of those guys in the military that train the new recruits, like they talk so much shyt to those guys, talking about what they'll do to them just to prove that they have authority over them. and this cop came in the same way, talking about he was going bust their heads on the curb and shyt like that. and honestly, the cop wasn't big at all and he looked like he was either stressed out of his mind and had some sleepless nights, or he was on drugs. anyone of the band members could have taken that guy down, he just had a big mouth.
but anyways, that's the only bad cop i've seen in close contact with me. a lot of time, the cops here are cowards, they'll chase after and arrest drunk people before they actually go after some hardcore criminals. and i think that's what makes them a threat to public safety. they're more preoccupied with bullshyt and hassling people who haven't done anything serious, while the guys who are really doing some serious shyt, they can't seem to find those guys...
at all them fakkits.
