nikkaz out here trying to shyt on BTNH, these nikkaz was musical geniuses. Take away Bone and you don't have that shyt from like three or four years back with Busta going crazy and everyone trying to recite that shyt.

I remember how much p*ssy Bone helped me get just because I could recite they shyt. I could turn on E. 1999 right now in front of ten hoes and I guarantee get p*ssy from at least one just because I could tell them what Bizzie said on his verse.

I refuse to let y'all muthafukas sit here and disparagethe good name of Bone Thugs and Harmony or The Four Faces of Death.

These nikkaz gave us the greatness that is Buddah Lovas, had nikkaz smoking and singing. Swear y'all done pissed me off, I'm going to sleep tonight.

Bone went gold 14 years after their debut

They dropped a Greatest Hits, a decade after their debut with no new single or promo and went gold

They have easily one of the best cult followings and fan bases

Any knock on them was entire self inflicted, they made alot of bad decisions but that says nothing about the fans love for them and their success

Top 5 rap group ever, at their peak, no one was fukking with Bone

what are the top 3 southern gangsta rap albums from the 90s, breh? Best production? I'm curious :salute:
Honestly I don't even get into the top and greatest discussions. I like too much shyt and I'm way too indecisive. I'm also not much of an album guy. I run through albums and grab the tracks that stick out the most to me. When I said gems I meant tracks not albums.

If I knew how to share this playlist you'd know what I'm talkin bout:banderas:

I feel you. I've never been the guy that will sit through an entire album of mediocre tracks. It's always about the standouts for me. The gems.

I've never heard "Dirty Money" but I like "Wood Wheel." My favorite UGK record is Stoned Junkee.
Aquemini.... I don't really care for it. But "SpottieOttieDopaliscious" is my favorite cut on there. Da Art of Storytellin with Rick is cool, too. Skew It on The Bar-B is tolerable.

I like that hard shyt, breh. Whatever it is, beat's gotta go hard. I'm a Wu-tang, Mobb Deep, ASAP Rocky, 3 6 Mafia type cat. I love a lot of different types of hip hop but I love that dark, hard-hitting mystical shyt the most. If you have any recommendations on those, I'm all ears.

They were meant for a certain sounds (90s g funk style mixed with midwest) a la Snoop and that sound faded.

But unlike Snoop they didn't reinvent themselves as a personality. Bone is solidified though even their later albums were low key flames

"foe tha luv of money, F*CK THE FAME".

I doubt that theyre interested in being personalities like snoop dogg; except maybe bizzy to an extent, but bizzy wouldn't dare do most of the stuff snoop does.

and they could easily fit on most of the popular beats of today. whenever they randomly hop on a new beat, they kill it.

Let me make one small correction as I am anal this way: the Greatest Hits set went platinum.

What messed up bone thugs legacy was the "Mo Thugs" trash that was released after their classics. They were always "out of date".
