Bizzy Bone

Possibly the most popular Bone Thug member but he fukked up every chance they had for superstardom as a group every single time
Ugh. Sadly there's a ton of truth to this.

Bizzy was molested as a child, etc etc... He had/has plenty demons that caused em to stray and throw the entire group off track many times.

For Bizzy, its ALWAYS about Bizzy and no one else

I can see why the rest of the group have been superpissed at him at one time or another

For example, just last year he refused to tour with the group and was in the crowd of the shows :mindblown:

Breh it's the east coast/NY bias on here that's all. I'm just like you, I don't know anyone who fukks with wu or knows any of thier songs like that. Meanwhile teens love first of the month, I tried, for the love of money etc
Honestly I never saw the appeal of Wu
They seemed corny and I thought the karate stuff was some weird CAC shyt

Bone thugs >>>> Wu

fans got tired of all the make up 2 break up shyt, i know i did. i went to go see them back in 2005 and instead of the 4 main members showing up (flesh was still locked up), only layzie and a drunk bizzy bone with a bald head showed up along with a couple of their mo thug lackeys.

as bone was going through their drama, the hot boys, ruff ryders, eminem, nelly/st lunatics, outkast, roc a fella etc were starting to blow so fans had plenty of other shyt to shift their attention to.

it's funny tho because you can still hear their influence and style in current acts...migos' "bad and boujee" was playing at this bar i was at recently, and it could've easily been mistaken for a dj u-neek production from the east 1999 era

It's because of the giant East Coast conspiracy, similar to White supremacy

Jokes aside, they're irrelevant because that's what happens when your catalog is trash and the machine aint backing you no more. It doesn't matter how much you sold. MC Hammer sold more than a lot of rappers and he's irrelevant as fukk.

Bone Thugs were the rapping Boyz II Men. Trash ass nikkas. And I actually owned one of their albums in real time. I think it was Art of War. Haven't seen that CD since '98 when I burned two tracks off it.

i get what you mean, but i think asap yams tried to shine light on bones legacy
asap mob is like bone thugs x dipset fused together

i was never really much into bone thugs myself but i think people always saw them as "the group eazy e helped push and the guys that made cross roads, thuggish ruggish and 1st of the month"

ASAP Rocky tried to give these bums some life. And then Ferg really tried to give them life. No one cares.

I will say that Rocky/Yams being able to take out the tiny decent thing about the Bone flow and magnify it into something far superior to Bone is one of the biggest strokes of genius I've seen in many years. That would be like listening to Silkk The Shocker and separating the 1% interesting thing about dude from the 99% trash that makes up dude.

Asap Yams tried to shine a light on a lot of things and people give him credit because hes dead and its trendy but I wish he’d get more props for his knowledge of culture.

He knew a fukk load about sometimes obscure and regional rap at a time when it wasnt always as accesible.

I've said many times that Live.Love.ASAP is the only classic this generation has and is by far the most hip hop-sounding album but :yeshrug: People are catching on but it'll take a while

What makes it even more crazy is you can see their influence especially on south, midwest and regional guys. The singing and fast rap/"migos" flow shyt was something they were doing earlier Now Granted there was the whole debate on if they them or three 6 started that (Along with Twista, Freestyle fellowship etc etc) but Bone were the first to go national and international with it so Im surprised they dont get the legends props they deserve for that alone.
It just goes to show that in rap you have preserve your legacy with the marketing even after your run along with some key co-signs from artists today. Look how UGK finesses everyone now into thinking they were really huge in the 90s

I loved Bone Thugs but I don’t think their music aged well at all:yeshrug:

Of all the 90’s albums that I have the only time I play them now is when I listen to Notorious Thugs
I think its the vocals that didn't age well. I don't care much for Koopsta Knicca and some of Lord Infamous melodic vocals like that anymore either. They beats still go hard.
