OP you get a lot of flack around here, but these are super high level quality posts! I have to really sit with this info...
The Arab slave trade and anti-Blackness is a big reason I could never get with Islam as an alternative to "White man's Christianity". No shots at the religion, but there is also a history of conquest and colonization attached to it just like with Christianity.
Only difference is in ISLAM the “history of conquest and colonization was supported by their holy book/haddith and followed the teachings of their prophet MUHAMMAD
Christian “conquest and colonization” was done by men who twisted the Bible and DID NOT follow the teachings of JESUS
Jesus wasn’t white
Muhammad was white
Why don’t you compare the founders of both faiths and then decide what is the better man to follow instead of judging Christianity by the acts of it’s worst “Christians” who made it a quote: “white mans religion” for their own benefit.
I have no interest in following any religion. It just came as a shock to me when I first learned about Arab/Islamic slavery and anti-Blackness because in my youth I was influenced by the Nation of Islam and the Five Percenters, some of whom made the claim that Islam was "the Black Man's true religion" etc.

Right so regardless if you desire to follow any religion (you could be atheist for all I know) logically you understand how Christianity was attacked by falsehoods created by another religion (religious leader) that came after
Ask yourself why Christianity was a threat to so many people to the extent they (or whatever inspired them) had to make entire new religions against it by “any means necessary”
And it’s always an argument/lie based on race/ethnicity to deceive ignorant people.
Makes you think about religion differently in hindsight.

The guy in this video breaks down very well the conditions that existed which enabled Arab Muslims to come into power very quickly and how a “new” religion or particular faith and some sort of idea of divine intervention played a role in it all.

ALLAH was already around but the Arab empire gave birth to Muhammad the prophet for sure and a new religion based on belief in him and living by his example such as the haddiths, stories & legends etc….
I’d say “Islam” and the Koran is something completely different today than it was before the Arab empire and Muhammad’s death
But what do I know.

You had a bunch of “early muslims” who didn’t even unify over Muhammad’s “importance” until way after his death then they backfill the justifications.
