It's crazy that MLB isn't focused on getting this team somewhere else. Get them in Nashville, Portland or Vancouver already.

I'll take them in Vegas. Give them a new name like the nats and give them a chance to build a new fan base

I don’t think MLB wants the Rays to leave Tampa.

That’s still a large market.

The argument for Nashville makes sense. Though probably not as much sense as a team in the Carolinas.

Would be nice if MLB could figure out a way for them to actually play in Tampa if they want that market.

What difference does the market size make if they're always at the bottom of the league attendance wise?

You would think Tampa and Miami would be better sports towns but I guess Florida just isn’t the business for anything outside of football,

Do the magic even have good attendance

Marlins have been a horrible franchise to their fanbase and the community, and that and Florida is full of transients more than ever. We have more transients living in FL now, than actual natives.

The Majic ownership are flat out horrible, theyre lucky they drafted Shaq, Penny and Dwight Howard. Theyll be decent again in 2 years with Banchero and them are ballin.

Can't wait for the Rays to go 110-52 and lose in the first or second round to an 82-80 Yankees wild card team :russell:

Soto is still making elite contact. He will be fine. But I think people will have to understand that he’s probably never going to be a 40 HR type of bat.

From a value perspective he’s going to be great for the Padres. He makes good contact and he gets on base. I’m just not looking at him as a “face of the league” type player like Judge was last year.
Low key, I think Soto rejected that contract because he simply didn't wanna stay in D.C. for 15 years and be another Votto, which I don't blame him :manny:
