More baseball fans seem to be calling for a robot or electronic strike zone.

Especially as stories of umpires missing calls becomes more common.

Somehow though, the NFL still measures distance with a stupid stick and chain. Which is inaccurate and wastes time. And fans NEVER address this.
The chains don't affect every single play in the NFL like balls and strikes. Troll better. :francis:

I’m not trolling. I just don’t see any possible reason why they still use chains. It’s inaccurate and wastes time.

And beyond that, using technology wouldn’t just impact measurements on 4th downs or whatever. It could more accurately impact all downs.

Mets , padres & yankees. Top 3 payrolls in mlb all flopped.

Padres may trade soto.snell & hader are gone

Who got the pieces for Soto, maybe this could be a move Boston makes, maybe marlins, brewers, astros, diamondbacks, Seattle, blue jays

I don't see why any team would offer a haul for him. He's gonna want an ungodly contract (that he isn't worth) next winter and have your team over a barrel if you don't pay him.

I thought Houston should have taken a run at him last year and offered Tucker but I was wrong. I would 100% rather have Tucker going forward because he isn't going ask/command $300+ million but will still give the same production.

Eh sometimes u need to make a splash, who is really worth 300 plus million really
Some of these teams don’t even really have a farm except a couple, might as well go for it see how the dynamics of your lineup changes

Very few guys are. Most of these massive contracts are mistakes. The only guys who have been worth it right now are:

Mookie
Cole
Judge (tentatively)
Harper (tentatively)
