His August numbers have been insane. The epitome of putting the team on your back.

On a side note, I love all these dugout celebrations for home runs this season. The trident is definitely one of the top ones, if not the absolute best.

I like the samurai helmet the Angels do as well.
I'm still mad that MLB/New Era made the Braves stop their HR celebration with the oversized hat.

Yankees should be ashamed of themselves:scust:

As far as I'm concerned they need to hand out fines internally :scust:

Locking him up immediately was one of the smartest moves I've seen a pro team take in years
I will never understand why more teams don't do this. Call up your young players early if they've shown they're good enough to get an opportunity. I know people are tired of hearing about them but just look at what the Braves do with their young players.

I think you need mutual buy in, and most franchises will not commit to a guy for 11 years after a hot start. It's a huge gamble. I think it's a better gamble though than doing the same after their 5th year personally.

If the Ms had given a commitment like that to Mitch Haniger who had a phenomenal 2018 and 2021, they'd be fukked right now because he cannot stay healthy to save his life. It's a dice roll.
