lol , Ohtani can literally carve out his own legacy and has w/o the help of any of those teams.

Thats kinda what I was thinking. Some players just transcend the team they're on. Griffey Jr is one of the most iconic players ever and he was stuck in Seattle and Cincinnati for his whole career. It didn't seem to hurt his marketability that much.

Not sure how to feel about this one.
I want to call him safe. But the rule is you have to be within 3 feet of the baseline and as he approached home plate, he was clearly more than 3 feet off the line.

I don't know how strict umpires are with this sort of thing, though.
I'm sure if someone looked at a bunch of tape, they'll find a lot of guys that strayed off the line.
