It’s crazy being raised in Michigan and now living in Houston to see how Texans are reacting to cold and snow. :russ:

Been driving through snow/ice for over 20 years. I’ve drove to work in blizzard in my old chevy cruze. Got cut of by semi on way home and swerved off road into a tree. Slid through a couple intersections before too:sadcam:. Luckily i was never hit. shyt can be terrifying when you feel your car lose traction

Texans can’t drive for shyt. One thing you need when driving icy roads is patience which drivers aint got out here. Y’all better stay in the damn house.

I'm also from Michigan and live in Texas so I know what you mean. I think the main problem down here is people used to traveling 80 mph so in the odd so rare event that we have this black ice, cats don't realize that they need to slow way down. We were already used to that in michigan so when temperatures hit that low, everyone automatically adjusts accordingly.

We used to riding on people’s azz. That’s why I plan to stay home. I’m sure we going to see a lot of accidents because people ain’t used to icy roads

Yea the one off Westheimer was nuts from what I heard. The news gets people into a frenzy and riles them up to buy shyt they dont need. I get that power might go out but I don't get what that has to do with buying tons of water. Just walked outside and its already raining. Temps gonna start dropping around 4. I'm already ski masked up and ready to head out at 3am.
