@ignorethis any of y'all Houston bruhs been to the crazy bull strip club

What's the best strip club right now?
ain't been yet, but my homegirl dances there.

She said Crazy Bull and the new V-Live are the spots now, Dreams has been bounced to third place.

Have a terrible feeling about Crazy Bull though, it's right by my parents' house and too close to all the bullshyt from Alief/Fondren/West Airport/Braeswood.

I give it 2 years before somebody gets killed there.

The only reason I say two years is because a lot of plex has calmed down since ATF has been terrorizing all the gangs and cliques.

nikkas too focused on ducking these fed cases they been handing out like candy, to focus on beefing right now.

But it's a strip club and and all it takes is two nikkas fukking with the same bytch for disaster to strike.

Advertisement for hipster gentrifites?

Something about these vids seem:mjpls:then a mf. Like it wasn't meant for "us".

We betnot let these mfs destroy our legacy in these two neighborhoods especially. They already got the 4th mostly(you got some activist tryna bring it back).

Furthermore former black exodusers from historically black neighborhoods in the city, their children, and grandchildren should make it a point to move back and invest in these neighborhoods. shyt Frenchtown 5th ward was the original place my maternal grandparents moved into when they left St. Laundry Louisiana.

I'm fasho gonna buy property in one of the black wards wards as well as the upper homestead area probably and set up shop there.

AADOS who's parents moved out the city to the burbs need to take the opportunity to snatch up these properties in the historically black neighborhoods that their families come from before even more of these hipster cacs and asians do.

Even in a practical sense more money is wasted in those burbs like Cypress-Cyfair, Humble, Pearland, and shyt than in the city, because they ain't any safer in terms of crime(anyone who really lives out there will tell you that) and there's a lot less amenities out there than in the city. Not to mention they're abandoning their rich legacies by being out there. It's cultural and social suicide.

The only burbs worth a damn for us would be the Mo, Kendleton, Barrett, and the some of the Galveston county cities, because we do actually have histories in those places worth preserving. We should as a people consolidate there.

yeah it’s not like black folks don’t have money in H town.

The appeal of the nice house and good schools in the suburbs is strong, so you can’t really blame folk for moving out of the hood.

I don't have stats on it at the moment, but I can tell you from my experience that AADOS children in most of those burbs don't perform any better than AADOS children in the inner city do. The burb schools are newer and more polished, but there's less black focused initiatives there, plus a weaker cultural reinforcement for the black students.

AADOS parents from the H need to stop being so short sighted with this and being lured into shytty deals by fancy looking lawns, pools, and backyards in the burbs.

And lets be honest some of them like the idea of living around a bunch of cacs and other non-blacks. Makes 'em feel like they got their work's worth in life. smh

you also have to account for the amount of black people who move to Houston from other places, they aren’t aware of the history, and honestly don’t want any parts of rebuilding a neighborhood. I don’t agree with that , but that’s how a lot of people feel.

The appeal of Houston to most is the ability to afford a nice house, it comes with strings attached, but it’s one of the main draws to the area.

You preaching to the choir. I live in NOLA. I get the “ I don’t know how y’all live there “ all the time from family and friends in H town. I ain’t bout that suburb life

If you talkin young black professional adult who've just moved into the city especially from far off places with no family connections here, then I can kinda understand.

But, if you takin the older gen like my grandparents peers or people who share family connections with them then nah. Because MOST of them originally came from out of town and a good chunk of them being from out of state. These people have a moral obligation to help preserve our legacy in the city. Most of the historical neighborhoods and landmarks were originally founded by out of towners, whether you talking about restaurants, theaters, clubs, museums, frats, benevolent societies, you name it. Houston was just a satellite city for the port of Galveston before the oil boom in the early 20th century(and even before then the city was still well over %25 black, and most of them were STILL from out of town).

Juneteeth was founded here for god sake. If you AADOS living here you have a part to play in the black community here.
