I’m about to take an L in my apartment search. Trying to live within 20 minutes of work downtown. Anything decent is at least $1300 and that just a simple ass one bedroom. Really nice ones are $1500 or higher. Way cheaper to live farther away but I’m not trying to deal with this Houston traffic during rush hour so :francis:

Good luck breh. Right now buying is cheaper. I remember those $1,400 and over rents years ago. I don’t miss it

What areas are you looking at because with the prices increasing it's going to be hard to find any apartments in a good price range.

I was at Clé on Saturday too....pretty dope party. My people on Instagram asked if I was in Houston or Vegas.
:mjlol:

But yeah I insist on valet parking if I go anywhere in that area - Clé, Capitol, Proof, etc.

How much at the door? I was literally about to go in there. Drove by showing folks around the city.

You’ll appreciate this decision in a month or two.

Downtown and med center area
:francis: I hate to say it, but you might have to go cheaper and deal with the traffic here. With people moving here in Houston especially Downtown prices are ridiculous I would say look around Uptown, Greenway/Upper Kirby or around that general area you can find some good prices cause once you hit Rice Village and up the prices go up.

I can easily afford it. It’s just a shock going from low midwest prices in Michigan to these big city downtown prices.

Oh then that's different. But yeah Downtown wasn't that expensive earlier this decade it was Uptown really, however with everyone moving here it's going to find its self similar to Atlanta this decade or Dallas like how it was a decade or two ago.

Curious. Why do you say he would be be appreciative? Because of cost savings overtime?
Because of quality of life.

If you live in urban area and can afford to be near the city center, you do it IMO

Especially in Houston
Three great Parks
The best restaurant scene
Social life

Why live 30 to 40 minutes away to save 200- 300 bucks, especially if he’s not in a bind financially
