Metro and I are about to get real friendly again. The gas is just too damn high. Though I did learn after several months of having a car constant speeding has me wasting at least a third of my gas. Now I see why everybody drives like grandmas.

While we're on the subject of food, you know what the fukk I hate; people from Smalltown, Texas talking about Houston doesn't have ANY good places to eat. Just because you can buy fried O'Possum from a fukking shack in a ditch doesn't mean your town has better food. GTFOH

Hughes Hangar on Washinton Ave. ain't bad. Celebrated New Years there. It's a decent setup (nice outdoor area, spacious indoor area with music).
BLU in Sugar Land Town Center is also a decent spot (great area to bar hop (Flying Saucer, Escalantes, Rouxpour)).
BLU doesn't like black people. They have a quota system. The other spots are cool. The spot in Houston right now is Prospect Park. Black owned and a super upscale sportsbar. They got something going on every night.
Watched this show called "Welcome to Sweetie Pies", some souful cafeteria style joint in St.Louis and Chicago. Her son recommended opening a restaurant in Houston and she said we don't have the demographic or soul food restaurants like that.
