:ohhh: never heard of it. but i hate that i missed it. me and wifey are foodies. we went to a food truck festival in west houston last week. shyt was CROWDED. stood in line for an hour at waffle bus and the food was just meh....:aicmon:.
I did a food truck crawl once and it wasn't worth it. I think since they had so many people to cook for at once the quality was shyt.

The waffle bus is pretty good to me plus they have this ancho honey butter :noah:

You should try the food truck park downtown. Its off st Emmanuel and Leeland I think.

Oan: Ashanti's body on good morning america right now :steviej:

Also looking for a nice lounge to celebrate my birthday this weekend with my boys. Any recommendations for a 22 year old :patrice:

Hughes Hangar on Washinton Ave. ain't bad. Celebrated New Years there. It's a decent setup (nice outdoor area, spacious indoor area with music).

BLU in Sugar Land Town Center is also a decent spot (great area to bar hop (Flying Saucer, Escalantes, Rouxpour)).

i'll try it again. i'll give them the benefit of the doubt because they were SUPER crowded. quality probably suffered because of the volume of customers. i'll try to catch them at Rice or U of H on a calm weekday afternoon and see if my opinion changes.

It's even better than restaurants week too me, because you get to hit everything at one time. Last restaurants week some of the one's I chose were disappointing. I didn't know that there would be alcohol to sampling too :korean:. I was so full and so guilty. I have only been to a few food trucks.

Moving back to Houston...need to find a safe location on the Northside to live. My parents are in Sugarland and I hate I couldnt transfer somewhere near the southwest but they got me going as far as Tomball. Any advice? I left Houston when I went away from college and only come back to see family and they telling me Houston Northside has became dangerous.

Now my dangerous scale is very low considering I been living in Chicago

Jersey Village is nice (290 & Jones rd). Traffic is bad on 290 because of construction but if commute isn't an issue than go for it.

I'm a female, but is it shyt do in Cypress when I left Houston 8 years ago that area was farmland. How far is the Woodlands from Cypress and Tomball. I been living in the Southwest side of Houston all my life and never been to Northside unless we had to go to Bush Intercontinental Airport or Greenspoint mall.

Thanks, I mean shyt to do as far as I dont have to go out of my way to shop and travel several miles. When I come to Houston in May to just visit I guess I can scope out the area cause most people I know who live out there are in some stupid big house far from everything.
