Man.

I'm a Ravens fan who's surprised there's even a season so I wasn't able to really keep up with nfl news because the pandemic news cycle was nuts this year.

Anyways going into this game I was only concerned about Hopkins because that dude was getting yards at will despite the double teams the Ravens put on him last year.

Then after a little research I found out he was traded. I guess that's why none of the local writers talked about that key matchup

The Houston Texans announced their inactives ahead of their Week 2 encounter with the Baltimore Ravens at NRG Stadium.

Running back Duke Johnson was listed as inactive as he was limited in practice all week with an ankle injury. Inside linebacker Peter Kalambayi was also inactive as he sustained a hamstring injury on Thursday.

Outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard, cornerback Cornell Armstrong, tight end Pharaoh Brown, and tackle Charlie Heck were also declared inactive.

Some good defensive stands, but good lord their 3rd down defense is awful. That 4th and 1 play all was horrible as well. O’Brien is showing his incompetence badly.

Coutee fumble leads to a Ravens TD. Why is this dude even seeing the field :what:

He has a lot of fans out there, but plays like that is why he’s always in the doghouse. He should’ve been traded for a 4th rounder or something.

Lucky to only be down by 10. The defense has been alright, but the offense needs to get it going more so our defense can rest up.

Pretty sure y’all figured this out already. The convoluted offense ends up with 3 and outs, forcing the defense to stay on the field too long

Another reminder of how bad the offense has been these two games. Deshaun is barely getting time to throw, and barely getting into a rhythm in general. That’s how mistakes happen.

Just posting some stats that I looked up myself:

Offensive stats since O'Brien has been here:
2014 - 14th
2015 - 21st
2016 - 28th
2017 - 17th (4-12 year)
2018 - 11th
2019 - 19th
2020 - 27th (current)

Defensive stats since O'Brien has been here:
2014 - 7th
2015 - 7th
2016 - 11th
2017 - 32nd (4-12)
2018 - 4th (???)
2019 - 19th
2020 - 28th (current)

Based on this, O'Brien is not only NOT a "QB guru", but he really does nothing right. What are his good qualities??? What earned him more control of the Texans and an extension??

This o-line is ass. Tunsil is literally the only good one. I get Scharping and Tytus are younger players, but Fulton and Mancz shouldn’t be looking goofy like this

Lonnie really messes up that defensive stance on that Juju TD.

Great drive to make up for it afterwards though. The offense did an amazing job with both protection and general play calling.
