Just finished the series. That ending really made it feel like a waste but I guess that's Spacey's fault. Crappy season too. Spacey really carried that show.

Just finished this
I was entertained from start to finish but I can't give them a pass for ending the series with a president killing somebody with her own hands in the white house.

It was all good until Claire stabbed Doug, though I think a lot of the characters were just left behind on the season finale, as if the writers just had no idea how to finish their participation, specially Cathy, after all the drama, they just killed her again as if she was worthless, it made no sense.

It's over for them without Spacey, maybe with more time they could've written a better script but Claire can't lead this serie, she just doesn't have the charisma.

Bout to watch The Sinner season 2 now and then finish The Alienist.

from what i could understand, theres a new family in the mix, very powerful, the shepherds, brother and sister. francis had made some deals with them before dying, that claire will not honor. claire has secretary durant, the newspaper guy tom, and another lady (can't remember her name, older lady who spoke russian) taken out. durant had left the country and faked her death, but still got found and killed. the vice president teamed up with the shepherds against claire, even showing her the body of the guy she killed. francis left everything he had to doug in his will, including an audio diary that implicates claire in some of his crimes. turns out doug is the one who killed francis. claire is pregnant, and is about to drop a nuke in syria. someone inside the white house is supposedly going to assassinate claire, so she gets rid of everyone out of the white house. doug confronts claire at the end, and she ends up stabbing him with the letter opener francis gave him, and he dies

Only finished it cause I been invested since the beginning but yea, fukk this show and fukk the ending. If it was gonna be this bad, they might as well just let it end after S4 or took the hit and let Spacey close it out

I really wish they would’ve been done filming when that shyt popped up about him. That’s the only way they could’ve taken the hit on it, just air what was finished. That show was Frank Underwood...well the season 1 characters collectively
