And doing a pretty damn poor job at it. For the people wanting Frank to take more Ls you can't really complain about it this season. Underwood didn't get one single significant victory and failed in pretty much everything he did.
Which is my only problem with this season in the sense that they never really explained why or how Frank was so close to Dunbar on the polls. I get he's kinda the first president in forever to be neck and neck on a primary but it made sense considering his track record before being president and the bad job he did in office.
They did try to make it clear that Claire was key for him turning things around in Iowa but I needed a better explanation than "she's very liked". Once Jackie endorsed Dunbar it was pretty much a given she was going to win and Claire doing a lot of appearances was enough to turn things around? That was weak
To my surprise, Doug's storyline didn't bother me one bit. Thought it was nicely done considering the kind of story he was involved in.
I guess next year we'll either catch up right before or after Super Tuesday or waay after that, with Frank having won or lost the primary and dealing with his last couple of months as president.
