They should benchmark a 1bd apartment - not sure what “home” means in this instance, and if you’re min wage, you have to make shyt work and that includes settling in a 1 bd apartment, not always having the luxury of the bedrooms you want.

They should benchmark a 1bd apartment - not sure what “home” means in this instance, and if you’re min wage, you have to make shyt work and that includes settling in a 1 bd apartment, not always having the luxury of the bedrooms you want.

I think it's the overall average. A $2000 apartment and a $800 apartment will average out to $1400.

I can see this. 2 bedroom benchmark shouldn't be the standard of measurement. It can cost you an additonal 300-1K.

30% of your monthly income is the bench mark.

So if u make $15.00 an hour you should only be paying no more than $720 a month. And that’s based on gross income so the real number is less than that.
