Well the question ur not asking is this... do they write the lyrics?

Accountability g. Let’s try some.

And nah I don’t know what “high up” means. I’ve been in enough rooms to know this.

A lot of shyt is set up, but it’s not as much a race thing as it is a money thing. They don’t give a fukk what’s destroying the black community, they care about green dollars, most of that is generated by white people.

Rap has become a fukking Minstrel Show. ABSOLUTELY... it’s surreal, because as a people we have become numb and blind to what’s going on with us.

But do I think Monty and Avery sitting in a room with a map saying “how can we fukk over the ******s” NAH.

They go with what’s hot, they go with what’s gathering momentum. They see that and they throw money at it.

I think y’all not realizing Tekashi been around since 2013/2014. Son was bubbling for years.

It just hit at the right time. Is what it is...

Once again you make sense but you're not acknowledging that I do agree with you in spots. This isn't the X Files where some great conspiracy is at play BUT these people make it their business to ALWAYS look out after their own. There are few instances when Jewish execs are letting a No Vaseline slip through the cracks. The objective is money for people but certainly not at all cost...It just so happens nikkax get the short end of the stick all the time. Tekashi is aligned with some powerful people no different Chance is. Harvey & His Bro had the juice to shake shyt up with a phone call and stuff a dikk in a A list actresses face and have her smiling for a photo op the next day. Nobody is grassroots...if you running with "the winners" that's 70% of the battle

As you mature in life it becomes easier to call a spade a spade. I'm not a big fan of 69 but the lil homies eat that shyt up. He would have that stadium rocking :yeshrug:
When you say "LiL Homies" are you talking about LiL white kids like the crowd he had in Philly?

Does Summer Jam have a predominantly white crowd? Serious question I never been to Summer Jam

I would never in life refer to adolescent white children as the Lil homies lol Summer Jam is a good mix of an audience actually. Black, Hispanic, White along with other shyt sprinkled in there. As dreadful as the station is it remains their only redeeming quality. Some years it's good and others it sucks but it's an institution

summer jam will be sure to be interesting this year at the very least

i figure if they dont have tekashi theyll at least have cardi b

who else do you yall think would be good for the summer jam bill this year?

future?
gucci?
migos?
cardi
dave east
casanova
a-boogie, don Q

i would say fab but

they usually pull decent lineups, so even if they dont get tekashi, theres enough big, established acts for them to get by im sure

i think its prolly a bad look for them as far as getting up and coming cats from the city with followings, but they still have plenty to choose from

If it happened then Tekashi's team asked for it to happen. It's a favor for them.

Just THINK about the way he's being promoted. Everything that his team is doing to make him larger than life is WORKING. Why focus on the music? Him being banned will just help him blow up more.

Nah people definitely are grassroots g. shyt ain’t fake at all in that regard. In the beginning it’s all organic.

They catch them early and that’s when the money comes in, buying views, likes, etc to sway mass public opinion.

They not finding these nikkas out of nowhere. In most cases these people have organic buzz.

Do they help it along? Duh... that’s their job lol.

Y’all talking about these Jewish execs, but I’ma tell u this ain’t the 90’s. A lot of the people that work at labels are black and from that old industry.

Half the NY rap nikkas y’all hold as the Holy Grail was signed by Jewish nikkas.

So what’s the difference now?????

What makes now different from then? When ODB went and got his Food Stamps with his kids in TV... shyt was toxic then too.

When Sticky Fingers was pulling out guns and shooting in the ceiling at Award Shows, rap was ignorant then too.

The public is choosing bullshyt.

These crackers exploit those choices.. it’s not complex, and it’s not as one sided as y’all wanna make it.

We got to take some responsibility too.

Each label might have 2 a&rs at urban. It ain’t that deep. If 69 people were so powerful, he would be on Radio. And he ain’t on Radio like that.

That says a lot.

Oh ok

If it's not a predominantly white crowd then I don't think most of them will care that Tekashi is not performing

People at Hot 97 probably know this

They will be more hyped to see A Boogie, Cardi B or whoever is performing there

You haven't said one lie. I think the only difference now is it felt like the world came to the art back then whereas now the art has to abide by outside rules. Plenty of Johnny Come Latelys who didn't grow up in the shyt have a say now. Too many worlds colliding. Lot of nikkax in there playing the role of patsy furthering the next man agenda. Reminds me of The Soprano episode when Bookem Woodbine was Tony's Jewish friend for back royalties on behalf of his fam

Banning him for nothing will have the reverse affect..

He’s going to start branding himself as the modern NWA
We are literately watching his career die before it really got started

Rappers make most of they money from live shows. Every time his show gets canceled or he's banned that's another nail in the coffin

His dumb fans think that trolling sh!t he's on is cool. They're cheering him on while he buries himself alive.

I havent heard anything from this takeshi (thank God), but I cant imagine he has any talent. Maybe Im judging him being a mexican, but what are the odds he has any viable mic skills???

He ain't lyrical, but he gets you hyped like DMX Ruff Ryder type energy while biting a cash money hot boy juvenile type flow in a yelling manner. And good production. Just listen to Kooda, that's my fav.
