Good Ear - Many but not Most rappers dont actually pick their beats, the producer makes the beat, the 'executive producer' picks the beats, the label picks the singles
Voice - I dont know if i have heard Young Thug or Future or Rich Homie Quan real voice yet, plus most 'voice' you hear even when not heavily distorted is heavily tweaked... PLUS some of the biggest names in rap are known to have 'bad' voices that just grew on folks cause it was always on the radio, drake is known to have a very nasal canadian sounding rap voice and a weak singing voice, amount of jokes on lil Wayne's voice is legendary...

I feel this way too. Breh spoke a lot of facts. A lot of the rap industry today, especially radio, is filled with unoriginal and untalented clowns. We still have a lot of great rappers but too many weak ones are blowing up. The craft was been downgraded to just turning up and making money. There aint no culture to this.
