Yeah, I Did That
Dey Trollin'...
What are you complaining about exactly? I don'y get it, being rich?
Wait... what? You lease 2 luxury cars? And it's only one of you?
First of all... I would never lease a car unless I absolutely have to, and I damn sure wouldn't lease 2. I'm gonna keep driving this 07 Honda Accord that's paid for until I get the money to get the car I want next (probably Audi A6 or Infiniti G27).
I refuse to pay $800 a month on a car that I really have no rights to, and that there's probably a limit to how much I can drive it in a given amount a time... especially since I travel a lot.
You all backwards my nig....
4 on 3 off shift work >>>>>> 60-80 hour corporate weeks.
at least with shift work, once you're off, you're off. in the corporate world, you're never truly off.
Nah breh, you wrong. Everybody don't give a fukk about owning a car (I'm one of those people). My next car, I'm leasing that bytch, cars are like toys to me and that's one expense (a car note) I don't mind paying, because I can (really don't have any other major bills beside student loans and mortgage). I'd rather get the latest whip, drive that bytch for 3 years and turn it back in when the major maintenance is due, and get me a new one. But to each its own...its strictly your preference, how your budget looking, and what matters to you. But hey, this may change if I get married and have kids
freedom. you know that saying about black men and the army. i think it equally applies to corporate america. you gain wealth, but you lose a piece of yourself.
aside from that, i don't know. i know i was a lot happier back then than now. and don't get me wrong, i'm happy now.

Why don't you just quit the nice job, give up the nice house and live out your dream?
being broke ain't what's hot breh.
any ideas on how to keep my current financial situation but with less stress and more hood fukkery?
my nikka, you just feeling some temporary insanity, tomorrow, you'll be glad to be where you are.
i get it though, why you're tired:
I think all people who didn't just do the "college-straight-to-professional" route who have gone over to the "other" side of things eventually feel so fukkin stressed, and start asking why we even doing this.
But the worst thing for me, I think is that most of your friends\family aren't able to relate to the stresses of this "never really off" crap.
It pisses me off everytime my OLDER brother calls me during some random ass hour in the workday (11:34am, for example), to try and talk to me about his new rims, or to ask me for 20 dollars....
Even my wife looks at me sometimes like, "b-b-but nikka, you off the phones now, you can't really be that tired\drained, can you?"
The pity\mutual understanding for me stopped the minute I jumped into this "professional" life.
and don't let anyone tell you different. i make 6 figures. got a big house in the burbs. luxury car, luxury suv. get a fair amount bougie p*ssy. but at the end of the day, i'd be happier working a 12/hour gig, with a box chevy on24s, fukking hoodrats
