breh you ain't gotta tell me ignorance is high in the hood. I see it everyday and that's why I make sure my kids have the proper tools to navigate thru this bullshyt. But the hood made me who I am today and I'm proud of where I'm from. There's more to our existence than negativity

For every person like you who succeeds there are people who die and fail thanks to those with the hood mentality bringing them down.

Its good to be proud that you survived a difficult situation but it's not good for our people to have to go through it and risk death

We just have different points of views. When I'm in another city I feel more at home in the hood. We make sure to find the black neighborhoods. We make something out of nothing everyday and that's something to celebrate. Of course I'm sick of the ignorance tho

Some black people have love/admiration for the "hood" but I couldn't stand it and I have no love for the "hood".

I also think that there is a hood mentality and white people have no bearing on my opinion.
