Simple message that goes over the heads of most. Guys and girls attain money and still hold onto this mentality and call themselves hood.

Yea there is too much self destruction going on.

Those of our people who try to rise up get shot down by our own and those who rise up get pulled back into shyt by those who cant let their negative behaviors from the hood go.

Hood life is just another experience. Like Tribal life, WASP life, rural life. It's not inherently bad. If you think it is it's because of white supremacy and propaganda that uses coded words to equate the hood with negativity. That's why I encourage people to say what they mean.

The hood isn't a place that should be glorified. People should strive to get out of it. When I used to volunteer at the rec center. Teens talking about their "hood" I would ask them where does your favorite athlete or rapper live? They would look at me with blank stares. I would say I'll give you one guess. It's NOT THE HOOD!

So if the hood is so great, why don't they live there? The kids really had nothing to say. I encouraged them to get education or a trade that is in demand. Move far away from the hood.
