He loses to SRL. He beats Hearns though. The reach and jab is great but prime Floyd is way too fast and skilled for him. I might even take this 38 y/o Floyd over him.

I'm sorry, but it's exactly the opposite. Floyd wouldn't have much of a chance against Hearns with all of his attributes, primarily his raw boxing ability. Not to mention, his height, reach, power, speed, and athleticism. Hearns is the nikka that out boxed SRL. Think about that.

No way Floyd could keep Hearns off of him all night, especially since he's the type of dude that would be willing to walk right through Floyd's shots to land his own.

SLR is 50/50. Floyd could out box him as long as SRL never hurts him or gets him in trouble.

Floyd has never even been in the ring with a fighter that had anywhere close to the combination of skillset and attributes of a Hearns or Leonard...he's never faced fighters that were that big, powerful AND skilled...both had incredible foot & handspeed as well and were technically and fundamentally sound... we have nothing to go on as far opponents @ Welterweight/Junior Middleweight that Floyd has beaten that would give you any idea about how he'd fare against either one. As a matter of fact...i'll just outright say that the suggestion that Floyd beats either one is just straight up silly...i don't see him beating Duran either...if he's struggling with Castillo and Maidana's constant pressure, swarming and roughhouse tactics...the fuk is gonna do with Duran who does all of the above on a whole different level?

Hearns out'chea rockin' Heavyweights with all-time great chins in headgear.

Floyd got feinted into a clean flush right hand by fukkin' Chino Maidana...u gotta be a damn fool if you think Hearns wouldn't land that thang.

And a Hearns right hand landing on a blown up Lightweight would be just

This a man who ended his career knocking out muthafukkas @ Cruiserweight...Floyd beats him tho :mjlol:

Yeah let's takes each other's OPINION on FANTASY bouts and make it seem like you know more than the other.
1. Hagler was too big.
2. It's not a given Floyd loses to ANY of them, stop.
3. Stop acting like Floyd is some run of the mill boxer who lucked up and dosent have ill God given abilities.
4. He belongs in the same class as the old head greats.
5. WE DON'T KNOW. Some of you are the same dudes who said that he wouldn't be able to hang with Manny.

6. If Hagler and Sugar could beat Hearns, Floyd has a hell of a chance too. Stop acting Hearns was some bionic boxer, ask Blade.

7. Oh yeah, they all could beat Floyd too And vice versa.

You guys are remembering Hearns and Haglers best performances and judging those against this 38 y/o Mayweather. Look past all the baby oil on those dudes and see Floyd is one of, if not the most skilled fighter of all time. I wouldn't have given Floyd the edge over those dudes until I saw what he did against the second best fighter of his era in Manny. Manny has beaten, dropped, retired, ran through and chopped down some beasts and he looked like a confused kid in there at times. Floyd is just too good man

I can't take anybody's opinion on boxing seriously if they think Floyd beat's Hearns. Sorry just can't. Too much speed, too much reach, too much power, too much finesse, too much skills, too much Steward in the corner, too much everything really. I'm sure Floyd's own father and uncles will tell you Hearn's wins that one clearly. shyt's a given really if you truly follow the sport and seen Hearns box before.

A Hagler fight is unfair though since it's not like we have any Floyd fights at middleweight to dissect so I won't even touch that one.

Floyd's an ATG no doubt, but just because you're an ATG doesn't mean you automatically match up well with other ATG's, there's levels to that shyt too. Marciano is an ATG, but nobody in their right mind would pick him to beat guys like Foreman or Holmes. That's no disrespect to Rocky, it's just that their both all wrong for him, plus they're both bigger, stronger, faster, etc...

There's too many great fighters at 130-154lbs to say Floyd just beats them all. There's going to be some fights that he'll lose. That's just how the sport is.
Hearns defense was extremely suspect and I'm not sure if he was quick enough to Floyd. I could see Floyd beating Hearns.

With the way Sugar Ray outboxed Duran when he decided not to box I could absolutely see younger Floyd beating Duran. Hagler just too damn big. Pointless to even discuss that one. Hearns would've been a great matchup. He would've definitely forced Floyd to be more offensive if the Hearns that fought Sugar Ray showed up. I think Floyd-Sugar Ray would've been an all time great matchup since both could do it all and both could make adjustments. Just the chess matchup alone and adjustments that would be made through the fight would've been amazing.

Would a Middleweight who's top 3-5 all-time in his weightclass and a 6'1" boxer who has Heavyweight reach and power as well as elite boxing skills beat a blown up Lightweight?
