Honestly... living on your own is overrated. There's no shame in living with parents.

I'll take "Things that codependent/scary nikkas" say for $300 Alex:lolbron:
Unless you are in a dire financial strain or your parents are sick, get your well able body ass out of your parents home and enjoy your freedom and learn how to manage your paper on your own instead of the "stacking paper" excuse.

Not knocking anyone who lives with the rents but I personally couldn't do it. The only plus side to living with your parents seems to be the ability to stack more paper.

stacking paper is just an excuse people use to explain why they living with their parents. That excuse actually only applies if you down and out on jobs or in the middle of changing living situations. Dudes making over 40k living at home with they parents just because they don't want no responsibility is selfish.

In my family you stay living at home unless you are getting married or moving to a different city and that's actually quite normal for my social group (all sorts of ethnicities) and we are all earning decent money.

If you don't have a good reason for moving out (this is subjective but sex can't be it surely?), if there isn't a good enough reason to move out then I would think the smart thing would be to stay. It's better for your health and wallet.

So OP :salute: from me.

Sounds like your problem is with money not living alone
I lived at home until I graduated college, then lived with a girlfriend for 3 yrs before living alone for the first time
Coming home and doing whatever.the.fukk.you.want will never be overrated.
I couldn't even imagine living under someone elses rules at this point in life
If you're underemployed and struggling then sure by all means, live at home and be subsidized by your parents while you get your life together , you don't really have any other choice :yeshrug:

My mentality is that by a certain age I need to be taking care of my parents.....not the other way around. Your parents spent 18 years + how ever many years of college taking care of you. Stop eating into their retirement funds and let them enjoy the second half of their lives without having to subsidize a grown ass adult
