pac is my nikka but wouldn't belittle anyone for not feeling him his mouth was pretty foul at times and his words never matched his actions half the time but then again were all guilty of that to some degree :manny:

He was 25.
You got rappers out there in there 30's doing dumber and more ignorant shyt than him in his early to mid 20s.
He was conflicted but who wouldn't be with the life he had.
He meant well but obviously made fukkups or wrong decisions along the way in his personal life and has even admitted to this in later interviews. Imagine he had stayed alive for another few years and matured he would've looked back and probably denounced the ignorant things he done himself.
People seem to overlook the fact that he died at age 25 so he didn't even have a real chance to reflect and realize his mistakes.
Malcom x didn't start changing till he was 23-25 and already in prison.

While yes, he was young and therefore immature, it doesn't excuse the excessiveness of what he was doing. Also the fact he was more mature at 17 than 25 speaks for itself. Dude even says in an interview that he never had any trouble with police until he made a record saying fukk em. He played a role and he got himself and another man killed because of it.

Cant front. I dont know how I feel about Pac. You dont go through such a extreme personality shift in 3 years like that fellas.

He went from Young Berg to 50 cent in a matter of one jail stint. Thats like Ja Rule coming out of jail on some 7 Day Theory shyt.

:comeon:

You must be a young cat. Pac had ALWAYS been a wild nikka. He stayed getting into it with the law. That rape charge wasn't his first conviction, it was just the only one where he was going to do some serious time (until Suge bailed him out).

Imagine if you will that you had a little homie you've been showing the ropes to. You get into it with some people he knows. The next time you go to his hood, the cats you're beefin with rob and shoot you, and your homie never let you know they were around. Meanwhile, in the midst of all this, you're convicted of something you didn't do and facing serious time. While you're rotting in jail, your little homie is blowing the fukk up and becomes king of the world and not once comes to visit you in jail. The only person who can get you out of that situation is a bit shiesty, but y'all had history in the past and he's cool with you.

So after spending damn near a year in jail with a sober mind and all this time to think, what are you gonna do? Are you:

A) gonna wanna destroy the credibility and career of this homie of yours, while remaining loyal to the dude who got you out of that situation. Or will you

B) congratulate your little dude for getting his money, no harm no foul, and tell the dude who got you outta jail, "thanks for your help, but I got this from here."?

It's damn near a miracle Pac was able to rise from all that and regain his top spot in the game while keeping the little bit of sanity he already had. And I didn't even mention how his mom's was on crack and his pops was never around (stepdad was in jail).

Tupac was just another rapper..... He was smart enough to know the path he was heading down would lead to his demise, but not intelligent enough to stop his self destruction....

Definitely charismatic and gifted but anyone who thinks he was a revolutionary is delusional...

the closest hip hop has come to in terms of revolutionaries maybe public enemy, X clan , poor righteous teachers, dead prez, BDP.... And even then I wouldn't consider any of these groups revolutionary
