I don't hate Tupac

I - like anyone - was captivated by his talk game

When I "judge" him I focus on the bars. Substandard. He made it work like no other, though.

NOW. If he woulda ACTUALLY DID something besides run wild in the streets after he got his guap... but no. I know I know.. he gave some bum nikkas a place to rest. I used to do that shyt ALL THE TIME when I was in my 20s. Not now.

So you're saying people dont/cant ever change du to life experiences?

Malcolm X anyone?

The life story of Brother Malcom is always the go to story when it comes to someone "changing" their life for the better or changing do to life experiences. That's why Malcom is Malcom. He changed 100 percent. There wasn't any question about it. We wouldn't of heard about him, if he hadn't.

Tupac never "changed". In fact not many people actually do. Whenever someone says, "I've changed" that's a clear sign that they haven't. :rudy: The hardest thing to do in life is actually change your behavior.

2pac died at 25. Even still, 25 year old pac was still different than teenage pac

They hate him cause they feel his fans literally ride for/overrate him till this day. (even though most fans of any rapper does that-- but not with the sheer numbers of pac tho:pachaha:)

They hate him cause he didnt rep the east coast even though he was born there, and then went around and shytted on a lot of east coast rappers

They hate him cause they feel hes a hypocrite (even though most elite golden era rappers are/were). They rather focus on the negativity and ignore the positivity when it comes to pac.

They hate him cause for some reason we've got a crab in barrel mentality and seeing brothers rise makes some salty:manny:

they hate him cause hes been elevated to iconic/legend status, while most great rappers are simply viewed as that-- " great rappers" (not an insult, but its real)

That being said, hes still the GOAT imo... no hate to biggie, nas, jay, rakim etc... cause the all brought a lot to the table too..

I just dont see how can ne self respecting brother can hate on:

For all the inspirational shyt he said through his music, for all the knowledge he dropped, he didn't apply that to his own life and instead was constantly doing dumb immature ******ish shyt, the same shyt that got him killed. As a self-respecting black man how do you not have a problem with that? I love Pac's music, but the man was a fukkup in his personal life.

He was 25.
You got rappers out there in there 30's doing dumber and more ignorant shyt than him in his early to mid 20s.
He was conflicted but who wouldn't be with the life he had.
He meant well but obviously made fukkups or wrong decisions along the way in his personal life and has even admitted to this in later interviews. Imagine he had stayed alive for another few years and matured he would've looked back and probably denounced the ignorant things he done himself.
People seem to overlook the fact that he died at age 25 so he didn't even have a real chance to reflect and realize his mistakes.
Malcom x didn't start changing till he was 23-25 and already in prison.
