The Truth
Thing is I don't really CARE that you like Lebron but I notice the same cats that like Lebron hate on Steph/KD hard. Then they try to force that "GOAT" narrative despite not ever being a Cavs fan before Lebron.

Then try to shyt on Steph/GS despite them being a homegrown team and on KD for doing the same shyt despite:

- KD spending 10 years with one team

- KD bringing OKC into relevancy

- KD spending his entire career playing against tough competition and winning MVP (Steph as well)

- KD's game being a lot better/funner to watch

- KD never acting like a bytch on the court

etc.

Imagine if KD had went to Miami with prime Dwade and Bosh... he would've won multiple rings too. nikkas at the bar was trying to say that what Lebron did was different and I was like "bullshyt"... Miami might have been a .500 team but the team Lebron joined wasn't the same Miami team the year before

Curry wasn't crowned the "king" and "MJ successor" before even getting drafted to the nba. stop it. Are we talking about the same curry that everyone including his own GM thought was a huge gamble and no one in their right mind thought he would go on to become the player he is today and his contract extension reflected it.

Lebron was shoved down everyone's throat right from high school where as steph only started getting his shine when he led his team to 67 wins and a championship. big difference

If anything it might be worst. Steph had been shoved down the collective public's throats for 15 & 16 hence a good amount of people wondering where the hell is this coming from so I can't be mad at a high schooler who was dominating for a couple of years taking the world by storm. At least we knew from Bron's initial game against The Kings this guy was set for takeoff. You put a hobbled Bron in Steph's position with that team up 3-1 and I have the utmost confidence he gets it done with the 3 games he has at his disposal.

1. LeBron is D-Whistle V2. Always looking for a whistle if he misses a drive.
2. Speaking of driving, no other player gets away with the travelling, bull charging, shoulder lowering, stiff arms that Bron gets away with.
3. "I'm taking my talents to South Beach"....
4. LeBron fans so caught up in their feelings for him, they need to make threads like this to try and convince other people to not hate him. :camby:

Is LeBron a generational talent and in contention for top 5 all time? Yes he is. Does that mean everyone gotta like and respect him? Fukk no.
Contrary to what you believe, everyone doesn't have to like this dude as a player. Just like you don't like everyone as a player. Simple as that.

You havent made it until you faced the scrutiny of critics and fans.

There is ZERO difference. Stans/fans are always gonna ride hard for their mans. Which is why I dont get why cats get so asshurt because the stans/fans will go to war for their favorites. "I DONT LIKE LEBRON BECAUSE HIS FANS THINKS HES THE GOAT. I CANT FORM MY OWN Opinion AND BLOCK OUT HIS FANS COMMENTS. LET ME TELL YOU WHY HES NOT THE BEST. MY GUY IS ACTUALLY BETTER THAN LEHOE" shyt is corny.

Its ok to criticize. Its ok not to like and not be a fan. Its ok to point out the holes in said persons game. But if your reason is anything because "his fans said this. His stans say that" Its corny as fukk. Period.

Cats forget as great as Kobe/Jordan are/were, these cats got their hate too while active. Comes with the territory. When Bron winds down and is in his last season, people will be looking back at all the great things hes done. While the next superstar will be under the spotlight getting all the criticism as his forefathers once did.

repped. Its a ridiculous premise. Had an argument in the barbershop where these dumb nikkas tried to make up all sorts of facts to discredit LeBron in last years finals. Claiming Kyrie outscored him, said Kyrie had multiple 40 point games, all sorts of stuff. When I proved their stats wrong. The main one arguing was like 'well I just don't like LeBron cause 'they' say he's better than Jordan'. Asked him whats the difference between that and a him not liking another barber just because someone said he's better. Dude had to admit he was just hating. But just admit it up front and stop lying

i'll forever hate lebron

i met him as a kid at a photo shoot/signing. he was an a$$hole, gave me the cold shoulder and was acting like he was too good for everyone there, and this was before he ever achieved shyt. his first stint on the cavs

i've been praying on his downfall for over 10 years now all because of that day, true story

i also just generally dislike his game and style of play.

I mean I get it but praying on a nikkas downfall? You need healing son.

I remember I made this same thread about Kobe. Didn't get one honest answer...:pachaha:

Shoot I can admit I never liked Kobe. But is was strictly personality based. Seemed like a loner weirdo that was just a dikk. Always respected his game of course but just always was completely unlikable as a person to me. Plus I always hated Rick Fox and Derrick Fisher for no real reason so it turned to Lakers hate lol

So in short your answer is 'LeBron stans'. Swear its so weird to me to let random fan chatter paint your opinion of a player.

Here's my part and maybe you'll agree...I have come to respect Bron more so as time went on. Anyone with eyes could see that he is a once a generation player. The ironic thing is Bron's greatest fear may possibly be a loss. No single player in the history of The NBA can say he carried such a ragtag supporting cast like the 07 Cavs to The Finals like Bron did...none of them. Over time it bothered me that people said he was better than Kobe but I did understand. Bron is a better rebounder, passer and peak Bron was probably a better defender. I also understood that outside of Boozer, Big Z and Mo's All Star year Bron may have gotten more out of teammates (I'll leave that for others to debate) The problem with the MJ stuff is that Bron has him in rebounding and assisting but there seems to be a blatant omission of what made MJ what he became. It wasn't about him being the perfect player or anything silly like that. It was the fact that when shyt was tight there was nobody in NBA history who envoked more fear than Jeffrey Jordan...He won games and he closed series. He had help along the way as all greats do. It's also puzzling to see people play dense and act as if Ray's shot and Kerr/Paxson shots are one in the same. Everybody knew who the ball was going to throughout the 4th and it didn't matter. Bird made his bones doing it, so did Reggie, Kobe got it in, Pierce was great at it...even Iso Joe. The issue is we watched Bron have these conflicts over the years that made you wonder was he built like that...I can go on more but I'll just say that Lebron James is the greatest small forward to ever play the game of basketball. 2nd best high school prospect ever as well

:whoa: Let's see how the careers of Kawhi and Durant turn out. Right now he's not the best SF, 2 years from now he may not be the best SF of his generation. Not to mention Bird has 3 rings and 2 FMVPs against much tougher competition. Let's leave Lebron at top 25 now until further notice.

It's simple. He was crowned way too early. King James years before he did anything. As a Laker fan and Kobe stan it was infuriating hearing people say Lebron was better. Even when Kobe was getting to the finals every year and Bron was never there.

Remember this shyt?! Why was Lebron even part of this campaign? Last go back a lil further actually.

nikkas had this guy on a God level before he accomplished anything. I think Lebrons a good guy, love that he's kept his image clean all these years, family man, stands up for us. But nikkas just crowned him so prematurely only to have him go ring chase in his prime. Think about that, he went ring chasing in his prime. Who does that? And the nikka almost got away with it too.

dapped. Though I will say a few things....

its not his fault. its the nature of any sport to create a hype train. boxing is the worst for this.
what I give him credit for in this regard is he is one of the few players that ever lived up to the hype on such a magnitude. that is something that is difficult to do.

Logically how do you claim LeBron was bailed out by Ray Allen in game 6 but don't say the same about Paxson and Kerr who both hit game winners in game 6's?
Because Jordan actually drew the attention of the defense in both cases which lead to the open shots. Not the same thing at all:stopitslime:
