Nissan/Infinity is a cash infusion away from being great. They really didn't have the money for anything for over a decade.

The Japanese as whole RN are literally and figuratively on an island.

I don't even know if its financially; I think its more of a cultural problem at this point.

Have Nissan fill in the models they don't make anymore really give them sports cars and full sized suvs. Axe the Nissan crossover lineup too.

an accord has more room than a crv funny enough. Remember a CRV is just an big civic.
You been in the new CR-Vs? They’re bigger than the previous gen. Them shyts are clean. The fully loaded Sport Touring trim is nice. Might get that shyt when my lease is up.
Nissan is the bottom tier of Japanese cars :scust: Toyota would never
They get that rep because they’re a subprime lender. They’re no worse than Toyota, who everyone glazes because of what they did in their heyday but by now, all the manufacturers have caught up.

Low key, Mazda/Subaru/Honda > Toyota but no one is ready to have that conversation.

Nissan should have recalled all those CVTs like VW did during dieselgate.

They took the low road and it bit them in the ass.

Their interior design is ass and the Z is a parts bin flop. Car sounds like shyt too.

It could have saved them, but they fukked it up by not moving on from the 370 platform.

Fleet rental inventories and single mothers kept them relevant for the past 10 years.

The jig is up.

damage already done from the fifth generation.
Nissan got killed implementing cheap Jatco CVTs everywhere (their engines are pretty solid). They are using the popular ZF transmission and now they can take advantage of the Honda CVTs for the lower models. Nissan also had no real Hybrid tech and can get that from Honda. Honda needs to learn styling (specifically interior styling) from Nissan. They both can fix each others problems. Nissan just being part of the Honda family is going to bring skeptics in.

Same, I don't like this at all

*article goes on to say they are looking to bring Mitsubishi into the mix :unimpressed:

No thanks, I'll go to Toyota if this start producing some bs Japanese Frankenstein autos :camby:

You must be young. Mitsubishi is OG status in these streets… Strong reputation
