everything in this country is about race. what a dumb question.
i don’t understand how this turned into a racial story - when it should strictly be about a mental illness/vigilante story

EVERYTHING.
White man kills a homeless black man gets no charges and you think people are going to focus on mental illness

The main reason some in the media are even defending the killer is because he was white.
If this was between two black people it would be less of a story
the mainstream press doesn’t need to explicitly defend the killer to defend him.Who are these white media people defending this white killer?
unless you’re talking about Fox News or some other type of conservative media
the mainstream press doesn’t need to explicitly defend the killer to defend him.
not a single outlet except the daily mail reported his name, and that reveal was inadvertent, immediately withdrawn once the white supremacists started complaining.
please ……. give me an example of the press defending him, without explicitly defending him
the fact that we knew of his past arrests and the killer's military service before we knew the killer's name. it's subtle, but it sets the table for racist and classist narratives in the public discourse while attempting to protect the identity of a killer.

Nbc news saying this might be self defense while not even reporting the white boy name and saying the death being ruled a homicide doesn’t mean a crime occurred sounded like defending him to me. If this goes to court the lawyer defending him will probably say the same shyt. People know how many times jordan got arrested and all this other stuff about his past but the person that murdered him past aint getting exposed.
