I've tried to load docker on my chromebook (failed) and my desktop (failed). The desktop is the one I'm willing to troubleshoot. I have a feeling it has to do with the daemon on the backend not working, likely due to a conflict w/ the wsl1 container so I'll have to do some google searching and tinkering there.
Finally got Docker running on my desktop. Turns out I can just install WSL2 side-by-side w/ WSL1. Playing around w/ Docker via a YT tutorial now

I built a Plex server on windows 10 mistake number one
Then I setup docker (I had no idea what I was doing) so half of my apps are running through rocker and the other half are running as a service

I have Sonarr and Radarr setup and NZB geek/SAB as my auto downloader. It’s all good until windows decides to randomly restart and fukk up everything.

At one point I was using Overseerer so people make requests but my NGInX proxy manager kept messing up.

I set up a DS920+ a while back mainly using it as a media server.

Took some time to learn how to get docker going, and have instances of radarr, sonarr, lidarr connected with prowlarr, Plex, pi-hole, nzbget, and qbitorrent

but I did it all so long ago and haven't kept up with it, I know I'm going to have to re-learn what I did if anything breaks
Need to get bitwarden going I just don't feel like taking the time to get it all together right now.

I can't get Docker working right for shyt. I need a detailed guide that doesn't assume you know what to do. Especially all those random settings.

Most of the guides for Docker I found either assumed you knew what you were doing or were overly technical about the history of containerization :francis:

SMH. Zero idea how to troubleshoot that shyt, so as soon as the settings they present don't work, I'm lost. I'm not even super pressed to get it working, but my NAS setup is so crazy, I fee like I'm missing out not running more apps.

Exactly my trouble in getting it all set up. Most of the guides out there speak as if you fully understand docker and it's structure, some over simplify and straight up give you scripts to run and are like "see it's as easy as click and paste, change a few values in the compose/env" and it's not that easy when you're new to this and don't know what any of these terms mean or how they relate to one another

Same, I started to get a grip of it but the guides are really lose. I think I ended up going to TRASH-guides discord to ask straight up, because all those words meant nothing to me and weren't helping me understand what I may have missed or configured incorrectly.

I ended up piecing it together with Trash guides and help from that discord, youtube videos and Dr_Frankenstein's guides
