Is Kuminga really that bad? :patrice: I think he'd give the Old King hell with his size and athleticism.
The game isn’t so simple as “he’s athletic, he will win.” Kuminga has serious flaws in his game that make it hard to play him in this series. Including last year it’s been 6 series where he hasn’t been able to get consistent minutes. Until he gets that there is more to basketball, especially playoff ball, than “run fast, dunk”, then he will keep getting DNP’d. He actually has to develop wing skills like shooting, rebounding, and passing. It’s a wing’s league and he is a clear small forward but can’t even play the position. It’sbeen 2 seasons

Yeah u thought, nikka

At different times, Kuminga has played well this year. He's also played like absolute trash.

He's played like a locked in baller with a bball IQ. He's also played like an airhead pouty youngster.

He's no bball genius yet, but he knows enough to be effective in these playoffs. His greatest challenge is locking in, controlling his emotions, and staying ready.

I expect him to get another shot in Game 3 in LA.

JK's displeasure with his minutes now expressed in a recent SF Chronicle article...

“It’s still tough to lock in every single time. It’s still tough to smile every single time,” Kuminga said. “But knowing where I’ve come from, seeing how many things that I’ve actually been through that a lot of people don’t know that got me to this point… I feel like throughout my career, throughout my life, I’ve never been given anything. I’ve seen so many people just get handed stuff. That’s never happened to me.”

Be a small forward that can't play small forward, brehs :unimpressed:

tell Kuminga Hollis-Jefferson to work on his severely unpolished fukking game before he starts crying.

If we want to get more fts, we need to show something in the paint :manny: everyone including Steph had their shyt swatted a lot trying to go thru the paint. This is why Wiggins got so passive. Besides some nifty passes to Loon the paint offense was catastrophic.

Compare it to sactown where they had no paint d and sabonis was a bum as a rim protector
