You shot FIFTY-THREE threes, dumbass.

Maybe try going inside more often next game and you'll get a few more calls. Then again, against AD, Bron, and Vandy.... maybe not. You're facing elite defenders who know how to avoid fouling and you responded by shooting from deep all game. What did you expect to happen?
So we didn’t go inside not once? We didn’t get a whistle in there either… we was also getting fouled off the ball and refs was letting it go.. Funny enough they didn’t let it go against us tho they called that shyt every time… Dennis floppin away from the ball and he getting calls.. fukk out of here

So we didn’t go inside not once?

"Going inside once" doesn't get you free throws. The Lakers took around 55 shots in the key and only got foul calls on about 10 of them. Warriors took about half that many shots, and got foul calls on even fewer because most of the shots they did take were little finesse shots by the guards, which were either challenged well by the Laker bigs or were simply let go for buckets.

I mean, are these the shots you were hoping to get foul calls on? Weak off-balance shyt blocked by players a foot taller than the shooter?

Warriors don't have big men banging inside, they don't have powerful drive-to-the-bucket players who force the defense to either foul or give up the hoop. Plus, most of the players on your squad can actually make their free throws, so they aren't gonna get fouled intentionally the way big men are. Who on your squad do you expect to actually force the issue and get to the line? Or do you just want to be gifted free throws because you think that's some automatic right of playing basketball?

Golden State fans have cemented themselves in history as the whiniest fukking fan base in the world. Everyone else is laughing at you for shooting 53 threes and then bytching that you didn't get to the line enough.

The level of disingenuity in this statement as if y'all complaints of moving screens that GS have allegedly gotten away with over the years isn't 10000000x the volume.

:picard:

How many folks in this thread after Game 1 complained about the officiating? There's literally only one poster in here talking about the officiating. Everyone else is talking about how the players fukked up and giving credit to the Lakers.

Every fan base has made complaints about the favorable whistle the Lakers have received this season. Go and read game threads on other teams' msgboards when their teams plays the Lakers. To make it as if it's solely the Warriors fanbase pointing this out is par for the course of your agenda of trying to discredit this franchise because they've stood in the way of your mans winning more titles.

Look at how much of a bullshyt ass muh'fukka @Rhakim is -

He runs up in here making a sweeping generalization about how "Golden State fans have cemented themselves in history as the whiniest fukking fan base in the world" because of one poster making a comment about the calls. I just went back through the posts that occurred during the game and post, and there's 43 posts made from Warriors fans, and only three of those posts are talking about the officiating, and they're all from just the one poster.

43 posts Warriors fans made about the game, and only three were about the foul calls.

@Rhakim out here with the nasty grifting.

Ok, now that we've got our feel out game in the books...

What do you think will be some good adjustments for Game 2?

:patrice:
#1 - Dray staying out of foul trouble and playing better.

Folks can talk about the FT disparity vs. the 3-pt disparity, but the truth is, I don't think that even becomes a talking point if Dray didn't sell that game and stayed out of foul trouble. To his credit he said on the podcast he played terribly and shouldn't have put the team in that situation as it fukked up the rotations. As long as he can stay on the floor he'll work out what to do and the rest of the team will follow his lead on that end.

There isn't an offense that he can't work out and I have complete trust in him doing so in this series.

You got Dray sticking AD?

Think Kerr will separate Dray and Loon again and start Poole?

Yeah that free throw three-point disparity is going to be there all series. Nothing to see here.

Yeah, I think we'll definitely see Dray on AD for periods, he's had success on him in the past. Maybe even someone like Moody starting to give them a bigger body. I guess they'll have to experiment to see what works.

I'd like to see Steph more on ball, running the high pick and roll with whoever AD's guarding.

Steph can reassert himself in the offense while getting that menace out the paint. Maybe open up some slashing opportunities for others.

3s been our thing for damn near a decade and we are the top team in the league in makes on 3s… Again the fukk that has to do with anything? In years past we got a fair whistle on drives even when we shot 3s… it’s only this year all of a sudden refs pick and choose how to officiate us but gives everyone else a decent whistle.. fukk out of here dude

I was thinking something along the lines of this

Having 2 non-shooting ass nikkas out there with AD guarding the paint isnt going to work

Notice how we went zone and lakers offense became stagnet? Also went AD is out Dray should be in where he can get some easy buckets around the rim…

When AD is in Steph should completely be on ball.. AD can’t sag in the paint

3s been our thing for damn near a decade and we are the top team in the league in makes on 3s…

In the 21-22 season, you only took 53 or more threes in ONE game. That was against OKC, and in that game you got....wait for it.... 8 free throws.

In the 20-21 season, you took 53 or more threes twice. In a game against OKC you got 18 free throws, and against the Pelicans you got...7 free throws.

From 2013 to 2020, you NEVER took 53 threes in any game. Not once.

53 threes is on the extreme end of outside shooting. Until this year y'all damn near never did that shyt, and when you did do it, you got to the line just as infrequently as you did last night.

In years past we got a fair whistle on drives even when we shot 3s… it’s only this year all of a sudden refs pick and choose how to officiate us but gives everyone else a decent whistle..

Y'all set the team record for most threes by over 300 this year, and your total was damn near 800 threes higher than any year previous to 2022. You dumbass fans are so disconnected from basketball you forgot one of the basic principles of the game - teams that shoot outside jump shots all game don't go to the line.

LeBron got just 5.9 free throws/game this year, and he powers inside twice as much as anyone on your squad. Who did you think was actually deserving to get a lot of trips to the line this year? Maybe against a bad defense those little finesse drives by Curry are worth something, but when AD, Bron, and Vandy are in your way, why the fukk are they going to need to foul anybody? Tell Wiggins, Draymond, and Looney to make some power moves inside, cause they didn't do shyt for that in Game 1.

And I have to :mjlol: at this "fair whistle" shyt, y'all have been bytching about everything since you started.
