I don't disagree with you. The debate is mostly semantics.

Agree, you don't marry your future to a bunch of draft picks. That's why I said "not the 2 timelines bullshït". But there does need to be a restocking of the cupboard, even if it's signing 2 way guys like Lamb and Jerome. Restocking doesn't mean all inexperienced players.

Obviously we needed some outside roster changes. Rim protector, wing defender, etc.

The Warriors drafted poorly, and made executive decisions and indecisions even more poorly.

This fiasco is encapsulated in Wise/GP2. Trading their "star" #2 pick for the same role player they let go of last year.

The responsibility goes all the top at Light Years, down to Moses Moody.
I agree with all you’re saying. Bad roster construction is just frustrating the team’s main guys

It just wasn’t that play though, it’s an accumulation of Poole doing dumb shyt and costing the team chances of generating and maximising runs. That’s where Dray’s frustration stems from. Dray can always trust in Steph, Klay and Iggy because they built this thang together. Poole wasn’t there for that, so naturally, Dray isn’t going to have the same belief in him if he’s always fukking up.

It’s been a running theme with Poole this season.

Yes, Dray shouldn’t have quit on the play, but we’re nearing the end of the season and Poole shouldn’t be making basic mistakes like this. We’re too far in the season and Poole has been in this system for far long for this to be happening on the regular.

I’d be frustrated too if I was Dray, where my body is failing me and I’m trying to make the most out of the minimal time this core has left to compete, and here this bozo is doing his best to derail everything.
Me too.

Two things can be true at one (and are in this case)

Any knowledgeable Dubs fan can understand being VERY frustrated with Jordan's decision-making.

But Dray cannot quit on the team during the game.

Ultimately, they BOTH need to get it together for us to have a chance.

Dray needs to lead better, and Jordan needs to follow better.

The biggest problem with Poole outside of his inconsistency and horrible defense has been not reading the moment. So many times the Warriors are in the middle of one of their patented runs and Poole will just throw up some wild bullshyt or turn the ball over trying to do too much and kills all momentum. He has to realize he’s not Steph and doesn’t have the freedom to take shots like that.
One of the funniest (maybe not funny) comments I saw about Poole is...

"He takes heat checks when someone ELSE is getting hot".

I might be the only one but I don’t see Poole getting better offensively enough to overcome his non existent defense. Gotta move him in the off season (don’t know for who) because this rock head mofo continues to display piss poor shot selection and slip n slide across the court :beli:.

Can you imagine him playing like this but making 30 plus million?

I'm already on record saying trade him in the off-season, pay Donte, and a grab a big with his bag.

Unfortunately we can't pay Donte more than a few more Ms due to lack of Bird rights. He'll have to take a "wink wink we get you later" deal to stay.

I do think JP got some new shoes tho. He hasn't fallen in a few weeks.

thinking basketball on how the league as a whole is adopting the warriors style and the warriors doing more or less the same things

So the net rating indicator suggests a play in exit this year?

:jbhmm:

Someone send this to Dray, Klay, and Steph so they can play with a chip on their shoulder again.

I said a page or two back that the FO failed to adapt to the fact that the league figured out how to play us which was go big so what we should’ve did was mitigate what the league was starting to figure out and go big too with a bigot type center.. That would’ve kept the league guessing and hard to figure the warriors out..

Oh well Steph and Klay still gonna put up numbers but teams know to pound us inside (pause) and it’s a win

The Grizzlies have the 2nd best home record in the NBA, but the team is currently in shambles and depending on Dillon Brooks to step up.

The Dubs have the worst road record for a team not tanking, are still without Wiggins, and are on a 2 game losing streak.

Should be an easy W for the Dubs.
