I didn't see the game, what was the takeaway? What happened?
Low intensity to start the game, down 20 in the first. Fought back but never led (or for long). Steph and Andre back and changing the rotations. AD dominating. Everyone played worse than they've been playing the past few weeks. Game was closer than it should've been, which is a good sign?

This is my hot take...

How the Warriors/Kerr handles Kuminga's playing time will determine their success or failure this year.

We've all seen the kid play. We've seen him grow. We understand his value to the team currently, and his infinite upside.

He played 13 min yesterday. Igoudala played 14.

Minga looked like an indecisive young player who's still learning the game.
:francis:

Iggy looked like an 85 year old grandpa throwing bricks at the backboard, while almost having a heart attack.
:picard:

Iggy gets praised, valued, and an infinite rope.

Minga gets yanked after a few tough plays in a game, after playing the best week of ball in his entire career.

This is not ok.

How short will Minga's rope be when Wigs and/or GP2 gets back?

People like Kerr, Steph, and Dray need to go out of their way to specifically boost Minga's confidence. Especially if he has to sit down for a minute due to rotations or matchups.

But enough with this sonning the kid, and buck breaking.

This also applies to JP3, in a lesser way.

I thought the ball moved well when iggy was out there. He just doesn't have a shot. But my issue was again.. glaring mistakes from JK and he gets yanked immediately. Lamb makes bad mistakes and he plays through it. And Lambs only real value from what I see is hitting open catch and shoot 3's.

When Lamb shot that quick ass basket and Reeves came down and beat the buzzer for a 3 , i was literally done with that nikka. I hate how long his leash is for the dumb ass shyt he does but for others its always a quick yank. Also we need Wiggs back in a bad way word to @Flight

To me the biggest issue are these slow ass starts. The game was essentially a 4-6 point deficit the whole time outside of the first quarter. If the warriors just started better they’d be in good shape. And by start better all they need to do is keep the deficit in single digits.

I did still down
The tweet I had was that Poole is shooting sub-40% FG and 25% from 3 on 8 attempts per game. But Klay going off was masking it

The other tweet was about the warriors bench reacting to Steph’s 3 before he took the shot
