It's funny how bad the media wants this whole Dez vs Dallas narrative to play out, but it's so obvious he has no intention of even thinking about leaving.

Raiders signed Helu, Eagles signed Matthews and Thurmond (CB).

Unless I'm missing something, it seems like the only remaining teams that have RB need and ability to shell out $7mil+ a year are Arizona, Jacksonville, and Dallas. As more and more lower tier RBs get signed up to meager deals, Murray's ability to use leverage from "multiple offers" crashes and burns.

Hate to see it happen to a guy who deserves a big deal, but the RB market is drying up real fast. We might be able to get him at a very reasonable rate barring a surprise from Jax or Arizona.

In a couple of days, it could be very possible that no team will need a RB of Murray's caliber and/or won't be able to afford him.

At the start of FA, multiple teams could have offered him $7-8mil+ AAV. With each passing minute it looks like he's going to have to settle for $5-6.

It's two fold. I honestly think they might get more credit than they deserve. Murray made a lot happen too :manny:

I think about how upset I use to get when Murray was showing flashes and then would get hurt and his season is out the window. I think this season is a product of staying healthy moreso than a dominate offensive line. There were 3 different starters plugged on the O-Line that people seem to forget about and Murray still did his thang. Not to take anything away from the line tho because they are a good unit but Murray was going hard when T. Smith was the only young guy on the line.
Murray was good but he was nowhere near as dominant as he was last year, he was able to stay healthy because of the line and the balanced play calling. The line is great and there's no other way around it and i guarantee if Murray went anywhere else he would look like the Murray we saw his first 2 years here.

That's point Im making. He was good but he kept getting hurt. Nothing changed but his durability and commitment to run the ball...before last year is was "we lost cause we didn't run the ball." Last year we won cause we ran the ball. His first year he was averaging 5.5 a pop. The year before last he was 5.2 compared to last year of 4.7.

I can't credit him being healthy on the o-line :pachaha:If anything his offseason prep with Witten did it. The Murray we saw the first two years was a good back

If you think this line had nothing to do with Murray staying healthy then i don't know what to tell you, the offense stayed healthy because this line was mauling people at the point of attack. Romo's injury was on coaching staff for not realizing that Washington was going to blitz every down.

Jags basically said they have a standing offer, if he want he can accept it. Not going any higher tho

We need to go for Hardy, I can live with the secondary for now. Get Rod some talent on that d-line
