White Palace made me throw tantrums like a kid. Needless to say I never attempted the Path of Pain. Just the name scared me off.

It was hard but doable.

Yeah... I honestly didn't get any of it when playing but it hit me up as sad.

I saw extensive youtube videos on the lore after that though, and I was surprised at how deep it is.

I slept on Hollow Knight and was about 2+ years late to the party. I won't make that mistake again. They need to give us a damn release date.

Downloaded this two years and never got around to playing it until this weekend. God damn, this game is beautiful. Beat Hornet in Greenpath but I have no idea where to go to next.

Ori is similar but better imo

Yeah. I could do a full breakdown as to why Hollow Knight is > Ori. I love both games. Both are classics, but one is just classy-ier, lol. There's only two categories that Ori arguably does better than Hollow Knight and that's it's traversal mechanics and gfx.

I was put off by Ori's artistic direction but I need to play it still. I think I missed the promotion on the Nintendo eShop too.

Ori is cool but the combat isn't much good. Actually there is a bit of a style of substance feel to it. Platforming isn't spectacular either.
