I always have on a pair of house slippers/shoes when i'm walking on the hardwood floor of my place and always take my shoes before I step on the carpet of my bedroom. I have relatives and friends that walk around barefoot and then kick their feet up on the couch or coffee table

hardwood floor + having a dog makes it impossible for me to have a spotless floor for more than 2 days.
