I was about to make this post. She tries to look Latina with that horrible orange tan. Look at some of her older pictures.

snooki on Jersey Shore was orange...I never seen orange in Ariana. I thought Ariana was legit latina brown.

Looks orange to me, but I'm a little color blind. Definitely a fake tan that doesn't look natural.

My first encounter with the term "Grande" was at taco bell. Last I checked it was Mexican fast food (well, Mexican inspired for you snobs) and Big in Spanish is Grande...so obviously you can see how me and other people can make that connection:

did you know before looking it up? cause that is a last name I have ever heard before...and when i heard grande i assumed it was Hispanic like lopez and castillo.

I call it the "Pink" affect. Remember when she first came around and everyone thought she was a lightskin/mixed Black woman?





Her music was a bit more "urban" and she was presented as such. She nor the label really actively said she wasnt until Black people put her on then she completely changed genres and makes white music now. Then later some program I saw on VH1 years later she was all like, "Duh! Im not Black!"

Im sure older posters may be able to point to an even older example.

i was young kid when this dropped and i do remember thinking she was mixed.

now as i'm watching the video as an adult, i can clearly see she's white

when is the jump? I only know her through music....didn't know she existed before 2014. I only know brown Ariana.

But after further research into her past....she looks a Jewish white girl . but was she washed out by the cameras on purpose and/or a user of lightening cream?...i dunno:

She started on Nickelodean. Either Zoey 101 of Victorious something like that. She uses heavy bronzers/tanners like many white women trying to appeal to the urban crowd.

lol...people keep saying that. But people can never tell me the race of Jennifer Lopez
black hispanic will be "no soy negro" and tell you they dominican or puerto rican etc.
