Bruh, I had went inside the new school building and was amazed. It's like, damn, I wish we got to have this shyt .

I graduated in 04 so even back then the city was talking about it, but tgey ain't start shyt til 09. New school ain't open til 13. shyt is nice as fukk though.

Since they tried to charge my lil sis with an assault, my mama does not want her in a white school. She is thinking about sending her to Cass (which would be fine with me). But the new East English Village is much closer to my mama crib (13 Mile and Hoover, mama is balling out now). Ask your lil cuz how is the education there if you can and get back at me. I kinda want lil sis to get more inner city experience for her 11th and 12th grade years. She is in the 10th right now and my mama wants her out of that racist ass school.

It's more of a Detroit thing and me not paying much attention to schools outside of the city. As far as all major cities, Detroit has always been known as one of the most creative. All Detroit schools have original shyt. Can't blame me for that. I'm a POME (Product of my environment)

My bad then. I'm surprised there's a whole city where this doesn't happen. You bring up an interesting point. Maybe more schools should at least attempt to allow their student body to come up with their own logos

Most of Detroit schools are old as fukk, so yeah, student bodies probably made all those logo's.

They have rebuilt like 5 or 6 schools over the last few years, but I'm not sure if they stuck with the OG team names and logo's though. I hope they did in most cases, we have some dope ass names and logo's.

My Lil cousin had a similar situation
He went to de lasalle but ended up ar east english village and hes got a scholarship to play bball at a division 1 school.

As for her experiance dps schools are like any where else cept rougher student body

From the cass qb alamming the security guard a year or so ago to amy incident shyt i went tk king and shyt went down weekly when they let neighborhood kids and kids from closed down schools join. The cream rises to the top. Long as she does her school work and mildly avoids the fukkery of teenage life she should be getting scholarship offers and rise no matter where she is
