While it looks fun/interesting, idk anything about Harry Potter so im taking the wait and see approach

Game looks good from what i’ve seen but the world looks quite empty, idk if i’ve just watched the wrong videos.

Hopefully the combat is also good. If the combat is wonky the entire game is gonna fall apart.

Yeah, thats a good point. from what i've seen you basically in hogwarts and exploring the campus grounds. Low key kinda like midnight suns.
Not to say it can't be enjoyable if thats all there is, because i like midnight suns. but i would like to visit what is it, beecher street? the place with all the magical stores and stuff. haven't seen anything like that yet, like the theme park.

Lol you comparing exploring hogwarts to midnight suns switched the lightbulb on in my head for why I’ve been less excited about it.

The thing that made me love midnight suns ultimately is the battle/combat, the other stuff was just complimentary. With this game i feel like the hogwarts sim stuff is the focus, and if thats not compelling enough on its own then idk how i feel about it.

Thats why i said the combat needs to be the anchor for me to enjoy the game. I dont really actually care that much about Harry Potter, but a cool magic wielding game with dungeons and real exploration outside the school is what i want

The first three movies are worth watching. Generally good/classic films. Kinda like Jurassic Park or Ghostbusters though your mileage may vary. Going to Universal and what not is really where you become a superfan.

I dont give a shyt about anything, i just hope the combat feels good and satisfying. If that aspect is wack then the entire game falls apart

Empty boring world = Bad game. Cyberpunk 2077 potential fell on it's face just because the CPU were boring as fuk.

Rockstar and Elder Scrolls got us spoiled.
