Believe it or not a lot of them try to catch it on purpose. It's a sick part of gay culture the media sweeps under the rug. They hold parties to spread it. They call it gift giving or something like that.

We have the data to prove gays and drug users are main ones catching hiv. Go to the cdc website and look at hiv tranmission rates. Chances of a man catching hiv from an infected woman from vaginal sex is less than 0.5%.
Per the cdc.
In 2022, gay, bisexual, and other men who reported male-to-male sexual contact accounted for 67% (21,400) of the 31,800 estimated new HIV infections and 83% of estimated infections among all men.
Based on the data this is clearly a gay disease. And drug needle users make up most of the rest of those with hiv.
