Yeah. They're releasing it in chapters. Its a corny business model that I hope dies soon. The FF7 remake is supposed to be releasing the same way I think.
:scust: the success of the telltale games got them thinking this ok. I'd never support episodic content for big name games. Either release it when its done or keep it.

I was wondering the same thing.
I guess with the new release model the series is moving forward as Hitman: Season (X)
Instead of traditional number sequels.
I have to read back through the info though. I completely stopped caring about this game altogether once I found out they were releasing it in chunks instead of as one full game.

Yeah, I'm not excited for it anymore. I might just wait a couple of months when/if it goes on sale next holiday season instead of getting it in January.

I was just hoping for 1 full game with like 10 missions fleshed out into one finished game, and I was happy to wait for it but fukk all this episode/season garbage.

How many stages in the full game?

I don't think they can recapture blood money in how they had so many different locations
they were all so fukking piff too, had hours of fun when I was lil murdering as many people on a single map and escaping unnoticed just to see the newspaper clipping at the end explaining how someone killed 27 people discreetly with no one noticing lol.

This was most fun on the Mississippi boat, the Xmas Party in the Mountains and the casino :wow:

You cats are missing out. The elusive targets, escalations and the myriad of ways to kill your target(s) gives the game much replay value. I've played over a 100 hours and there are still two episodes and plenty more elusive targets and escalations left.

I understand people trippin on the episodic release but why would you bypass the disc release in Jan 2017?

As good as the new Hitman is, it's not seeing Blood Money

Damn shame I got to wait on this cause this shyt is :ohlawd:

You actually have to assassinate multiple people on every stage which goes a long way in lengthening the game:ehh:

And all those one time contracts they add...you seem to be able to play them again as well...

Combine that with custom contracts and the length of the game right now is pretty long...

Played it at a friends house...between the main contracts and custom contracts I ended up with 6 targets on the second stage over two playthroughs :ehh:

Not enough to make me buy it though before the whole game comes out...unless it goes on sale :ehh:
