Is 30 country miles more impactful than anything Nas did the last 15 years

Tell me I’m lying

At what point do we acknowledge the difference between attention and support? I thought the versuz was cool, it was a great thing to talk about. And then over a year later, Jada and Cam were struggling to sell out the fukking Apollo, and Cam had to cancel multiple big shows with Mase. So did the versuz really have impact or was it one of a million things we observe on social media, say "this is cool" and then forget about 24 hours later? That's no disrespect to Jada or Cam btw, I don't think this is about them. It's about us and we consume events/media/etc.

On the flip side we got a perfect example of what support looks like when Nas did MSG. I'm not turning that show into Woodstock or some seminal moment. It wasn't. It was something simpler and also important: an artist who doesn't get the attention, who never goes viral, who hasn't had a hit in 20 plus years...effortlessly selling out an arena (in his home town, as you say) because has the love and support of the people. You don't buy or gain support with the viral moments or 24 hour news cycle. You invest in it over the course of years and decades. Jada and Cam have more recent hits than Nas and had arguably the greatest versuz...and it didn't matter in any tangible way. Again, attention vs support.

Ok. You know what didn't sell out? The UBS Arena concert in NY, which got cancelled alongside the rest of that Jada/Cam/Mase tour due to low ticket sales. Again...attention vs support.
Who cares dipset? This is about Nas lol

tell Nas to do a solo arena tour like his main competition

he can’t because he won’t get the support like that
