Nas is 50 years old in Neverland…think about that. You’re a senior citizen at 35 and a complete dinosaur at 40 here…he’s 50. I’m not sure what “impact” these people are expecting him to make man, lol. I mean, he won a Grammy and just sold out the Garden and sold out every night on tour… and the albums always chart Top 5 for the most part. Who else in rap is doing that outside of the super duper big dogs? People just say anything yo, why these people don’t get spanked for speaking subversive on the rarified air, Mount Olympus dudes is disgusting kind of. He should get choked up against a wall with a stern finger pointed inches away from his eye while being threatened for this.

Im trying to figure out what are these radio hits that Berg makes though?

I looked at his production discography and theres like 2 joints I recognize and he aint had a top 20 hit.

I get if it was Metro or Mustard saying this about Hit's run but hes out making albums with Jim Jones no one listens to

People pick and choose when they want to talk numbers. If one of your favorite artists doing big numbers then you like :noah: but let that same artist start flopping then it’s “he don’t care about numbers no more, it’s about the quality
When was nas ever a numbers guy or put emphasis on numbers like that?

Just asking, I Might have missed that part of his career.

Don’t nobody play Berg shyt anywhere. The music he produces is corny forced pop trash.

I play Nas all the time around the women in my life. They love the last album too.

This nikka gon’ get his ass beat again like it’s 2005 lol.

“the first rapper that bought a platinum plaque to the projects”
:mjlol:
Really??
A few lines about his sales in a career full of lines makes him a numbers guy. He rarely mentions his sales

When I talk about numbers guys I mean people who put it in their songs regularly like a jay z or a 50 can't, etc...

If you want to argue none of the songs are classic or hits compared to the 1994-[insert year] stuff then yea, that's obvious. It's true of most older acts. I'd give Nas credit for actually pushing his new shyt at the show though. I doubt you'd see Bruce Springsteen or anyone like that rock 20 new songs at a concert instead of rolling through the hits and sprinkling a couple new ones in.
