Let’s leave the emotion out talk logic then. :unimpressed:

If you and your community built a SUCCESSFUL and SELF SUFFICIENT community on your own, in the midst of oppression and were cut down, why do you think the NEXT BEST MOVE would be to live AMONGST the very people that cut you down?

If that what you think ethnic segregation was/is? When a group of ppl are left alone to thrive and be happy in their own little corner? That its a choice?

Desegregation broke the black community lol. Before that we were actually a COMMUNITY (key in on UNITY). Before desegregation we had Black Walstreets, Rosewoods, And Wilmington,NCs. Where is anything like that today with more connectivity and access to making money?

2022 and y’all still think mixing in with people that hated you (even if it isn’t all) was the best move for us. But if y’all still believe that then y’all deserve whatever cacs decide to do with y’all just leave the rest of us out of it
:hubie::usure:

You're a Jamaican... Living in Canada ...

Some of us actually had elders living in those those communities when they got burned down. But yeah have being contrarian for the sake of being contrarian.

She was chosen for a reason. White husband? Check. Rarely ever ruling in favor of Black people? Check. That's downright biased.

We gotta be honest.

If black men controlled America - would we elevate white people that would undermine our economic and political power?

You know what white people do to black people that undermine their power? They murder them or send them into exile.

We gotta stop bullshytting with ourselves.

Life is about POWER.

Above the fray.
Did Stephen Breyer ever suggest that he waited to step down? Honestly, the amount of damage done by RBG should never be forgotten, but you aren't allowed to bring it up because people became stans after her "celeb" status came about.
Within her rights as a justice to serve as long she wanted to.

Disregarding the screwjob that happened at the end of Obama's presidency, it should have been limited to 1 pick. RBG has no business being there, especially given her record of health scares. You know, her daughter suggested that she waited under the assumption that HRC would be the one to announce her successor. Imagine playing with democracy over something as stupid as that.

And this article was telling:

Yeah, I will never let that go.
and you shouldn't let it go
it's why I roll my eyes when people bring her up now
she almost messed up the country with that whole move

If you sit there and watch people like Ted Cruz, Tom Cotton, and Chuck Grassley....juelz and come up with bullshyt as to why this woman shouldn't be a SCOTUS Judge, and come to the conclusion that they're right, you need to check yourself, real talk

Naw, I watched and listened to the Black workers at Lockhead-Martin. :ohhh:

Not going to let you slide :unimpressed:

We’re talking about black Americans in America. They built self sufficient communities in the midst of hardcore OPEN oppression. And there communities were torn down out of jealousy. So why would the NEXT BEST MOVE be living amongst the very same people that tore down their self sufficient communities?

please just answer the question and don’t side step this time :coffee:

It's a shame she had to go through what she went through during the hearings to finally get here.
Some of the questions she was asked were pure stupidity.
And that session with Ted Cruz, what an idiot, then he went to check his twitter to see if he was trending :mindblown:

I feel more sorry for those Black workers at Lockhead-Martin. :yeshrug:

Of course but I don't equate legality (SCOTUS terms) with morality/ethics, it was irresponsible to remain given her age and health scares, and her decision has already negatively impacted people. You should see my follow-up post, most around her, including her daughter believe she did it for self-centered reasons.

The Deep State
She ruled against Black workers getting a settlement from Lockheed because the workers had "varying levels of discrimination." No one ever got paid because of that. It is very hard for individuals to sue a big company, so you have class action lawsuits. That was as anti-Black as it gets. And apparently, that wasn't the only case where she screwed Black people over. Supreme Court nominee Jackson rarely ruled for plaintiffs in bias cases

She was chosen for a reason. White husband? Check. Rarely ever ruling in favor of Black people? Check. That's downright biased.
There is untrue. The settlement included a clause that prevented the claimants from ever suing the company ever again.
